Sir,
It requested that permission be granted to sign memorandum of understanding with the following research centers to pursue academic excellence in research, development & training of various departments of the college.
There will be no financial burden on the college except to provide basic infrastructure along with simple refreshment (tea and at times samosa for the guests only).
It will enhance the research and training capabilities of the college and its departments.
Academic credibility of these centers has already been proved by organizing seminars.

5. SDHDR&T Center, Department of Sanskrit with Thakar Dei Mehra Charitable Foundation, Amritsar.
6. SDHDR&T, Department of Sanskrit with Vedic research Center, Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Jalandhar City.
7. SDHDR&T, Department of Sanskrit with Departments of Sanskrit, Pali, Foreign langauages, Punjabi University, Patiala.
8. SDHDR&T, Department of Sanskrit with Department of Sanskrit, Pali & Prakrit, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar
9. SDHDR&T with Haryana Grantha Academy, Panchkula.

More academic tie-ups can be done to promote research and development among the staff and to enhance the reputation of college.
It also requested that the infrastructure for video conferencing/ meetings/ seminars be provided along with the live upload facility on youtube and a audio-video production room.

MEMORENDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
On behalf of the S D College and NCSMR, we both ink this MOU in good faith and understanding to pursue the academic research and training on the following terms and conditions which are mutually acceptable to us.
1. There will be no financial involvement of both the parties.
2. Both parties will pursue academic activities in the form of meetings, seminars, taraining, workshops, lectures and other study materials.
3. Area of research will primarily focus on the following nine areas –

4. Reference point and perspective of all the research activities will remain focus on indigenous/ Indian tradition.
5. Both parties will try to use IT to its maximum so that exchange of ideas or any other research work can be exchanged immediately.
6. Meeting of members of this MOU will be held time to time to clarify and investigate academic issues.
7. Both parties will try to involve students of this college in research work.
