As done successfully in the past, The Company of Master Mariners of India (CMMI) is poised to hold yet another Conference titled “CARRIAGE OF DANGEROUS GOODS - Present Practices, Difficulties Faced and The Way Ahead”. The purpose of this Conference is to bring together the stakeholders involved in the carriage and storage of Hazardous Materials (classed under IMDG) and discuss and present the issues to the administration, including prevalent practices in packaging, segregation, carriage, compatibility of Hazardous Material and suggest way ahead. The various links in the ‘Dangerous Cargo’ Industry, including the current legislation, logistics sector, customs, agencies, insurance companies, terminals, shippers and the carriers will gather brought together under one roof… a first of its kind in India

The Company of Master Mariners of India is conducting half day Conference titled “CARRIAGE OF DANGEROUS GOODS - Present Practices, Difficulties Faced and The Way Ahead”. The Conference will be held in Mumbai at the Multipurpose Hall of Indian Register of Shipping, Adi Shankaracharya Marg, Powai, Mumbai on Wednesday, 21stSeptember, 2016from 0900hrs to 1400hrs.
