OBSERVATION TRIP TO CHENDERIANG
Date: 11~ 12Dec 2010(Saturday ~ Sunday)
Fees: Members: RM120 (adult); RM92 (children)
Non-members: RM140 (adult); RM100 (children)
(Caving adventure, picnic at Kinjang Waterfall, visit to an Orang Asli Family, 3 farm tours; sharing/exchanging on Organic/Slow foodmatters; farming experience ~ making fertilizer… )
Transport: Own transport. Car-pooling is encouraged
Closing Date: 3 Dec 2010 (All registration forms must come withpayment). All payment is non-refundable but transferable)
Condition: CETDEM, host and the drivers (in the case of car pool) will not be held liable for any mishap during the trip
Important: Please bring along YOUR own blanket/sleeping bag; plate/cup/fork/spoon(for pinic), shopping bags, walking shoes, sleeve shirt/overcoat (will be chilly at night), extra clothing and hat, as well as a GOOD torchlight (for caving).
*Overnight at GreenWishVegiGarden, owned by Kenny and his wife, Lee May, is located in Kg Sg Gending which is 8km from Chenderiang town and apprx. 22km from Tapah, Perak. It is about 2 hr drive from KL. Green Wish Vegi Gdn has a total 3.5 acres of various types of vegetables and fruits trees.
Programme:

Day 1 Saturday

8:30am Meet at Gopeng toll gate (please have your breakfast by then)
9:15am Caving at Gua Kandu, Gopeng
12:30 pm Kinjang Waterfall, with picnic lunch.
2:45 pm Visit to AsliVillage~ getting to know an Orang Asli family
3:40 pm Arrive GreenWishVegiGarden
4:00 pm Coffee/tea break
4:30 pm Farm introduction; farm tour
5:30 pm Farm work/demo on fertilizer making
using IMO (indeginous microorganism) (1hr)
7:15 pm Dinner
8:00 pm Reflection / sharing
9:45 pm Good night

Day 2 Sunday

7:00 am Breakfast & pack up
8:00 am Leave for Hibron Hill Organic Farm
12:00 pm Lunch at Hibron Farm (at your own cost @ RM8 per person)
& shopping
1:00 pm Leave for Green Wish Vegi Gdn to pick up belongings
1:30 pm Leave for Bamboo farm (non-organic farm)
3:00 pm Departure
