Permission to Test /

In our ongoing effort to meet the educational needs of all FCPS students, we are requesting permission to administer the FCC placement/assessment tests in preparation for the enrollment of your child in FCC courses offered at your high school. Students enrolled in FCPS may take the placement tests twice during their high school career.

The Accuplacer will be given on December 5, 2017 at Tuscarora High School. Your signature below will indicate your permission or refusal of permission to administer the tests. Please be assured that confidentiality will be maintained.

Students may be exempt from all or part of the exam if they have:

  • Earned a 480 or better on the critical reading and/or 530 math portion of the SAT.
  • Earned a score of 21 or higher on the English, reading, and/or mathematics portion of the ACT.
  • Earned a 3 or better on the AP English Language & Comp, English Literature & Comp and/or Calculus or Statistics.
  • Earned an A or B in Algebra II or higher in a FCPS high school during the Junior or Senior year.

Please make a copy of the SAT/ACT/AP scores or report card and staple to the permission form. The deadline to submit this Permission to Testoran exemption isNovember 28, 2017. Please return to Mrs. Cano Bonet in the front office.
