OFFICE SPACE, MAILBOX AND SHADOW BOX REQUEST FORM

Student Union Space Only

·  Office Space requests must be turned into the Office of Student Involvement by 5:00 pm on Friday, March 13, 2015.

·  Office Space assignments will be communicated to those successful in obtaining office space by July 1, 2015.

·  Office space assignments for 2015-2016 will be posted in the Office of Student Involvement and the Student Union office by July 1, 2015.

·  Organizations who are allocated office space for next year will be REQUIRED to have at least two organization leaders read and sign an office space agreement before access to the space will be granted.

·  Student Organizations who lose an office space or who are changing office space MUST have their current office space cleaned out of all non-university property by April 24, 2015. Swipe access to these spaces will be removed by April 24, 2015.

·  Student Organizations who are assigned the same space for next year do not need to move items out and will have no interruption of access. But, these office spaces will be subject to inspection, repair work and/or cleaning over the summer.

·  Student organizations must apply for office space, mailboxes and shadowboxes annually. Having an office one year does not guarantee an office space for subsequent years.

Office space for student organizations is a privilege, not a right. Having had an office space assigned in the past does not automatically mean one will be assigned next school year. More student organizations will apply for office space than there are spaces available. Please describe why your student organization NEEDS office space in the SU.

To qualify for office space, student orgs must be RECOGNIZED through the Office of Student Involvement, must be in good standing with the Office of Student Conduct and may not have any unresolved payment issues.
