Proof of language skills for exchange students

Students who intend to attendGerman-medium modulesand whose mother tongue is not German

and who are enrolled in a course of study taught in German at their home university must provide

a letter of recommendation from a German lecturer

and who are enrolled in a course of study not taught in German must provide

a German language certificate at level B2 or above (generally not older than two years)

take an NTB assessment test (please contact the International Office)

Students who intend to attend English-medium modules and whose mother tongue is not English

and who are enrolled in a course of study taught in English at their home university must provide

a letter of recommendation from an English lecturer

and who are enrolled in a course of study not taught in English must provide

an English language certificate at level C1 or above (generally not older than two years)

take an NTB assessment test (please contact the International Office)
