Declared E/M students,

You are invited to apply for theE/M Gustavus Mentoring Program in the launch of its 5th consecutive year.

This program will pair you with a successful Gustavus E/Malumnus, whose goal is to offer you advice, insight, and their personal perspective in the business world throughout next academic year. Your mentor will work with you on important matters such as resume building mock interviewing, and networking. Throughout the school year, it is our hope that this mentoring relationship will develop into a solid foundation for your future career development.

Student participants would be expected to…

1)Reach out to connect with your mentor

2)Interact with your mentor monthly either in person, on the phone, or online

3)Potentially visit your mentor at their place of workfor a job shadow opportunity or January Internship.

4)Attend the opening banquet on October 27, 2014.

5)Evaluate the program’s success and provide constructive feedback for future years

We will only be able to accept as many students as there are mentors. We are aware that there are many applicants so we are working as hard as we can to find as many mentors as possible. If you are interested in participating, please complete the following applicationand email it back to as a Word document with your first and last name in the title. This application must be submitted NO LATER than Friday, September 19th.
