Instructions

For numbers 2-9, scroll over and click the prompt for a list of possible questions to select for your interview. Note that you should use the same questions with all candidates applying for the same position. Questions 3-9 are behavioral based questions, which are used to prompt candidates for specific examples from their past experiences. Use the rubric to write their answer in three parts:

(1) Situation - The experience that answers the prompt.

(2) Action – How the candidate responded to the situation.

(3) Result – What happened as a result of the action taken.

If a student does not provide all three parts for an answer, you may prompt for more information. (I.e. Can you tell me what happened after you addressed the situation?) Questions 8 and 9 are optional, but should be asked, or not asked, consistently for every candidate applying for the same position.

After the interview has concluded, use the score boxes after each question and the post interview evaluation to review the answers.
