ANNOUNCEMENTS:
6TH AND 7TH GRADERS THAT WANT TO JOIN AVID: Applications are now available in the student center. Come pick one up if you’re interested in joining AVID.
8TH GRADERS WHO WANT TO JOIN AVID NEXT YEAR: You must submit your applications online by next Friday March 16th. We will NOT interview if your application is not submitted. Pick up a flyer in the student center that contains the link to the online application. This covers all high school AVID programs in Redlands.
ST PATRICK'S DAY SPIRIT: ? Match the colors of the Irish flag in orange or green Friday for spirit day.

Easter Candy Guessing Contest: Come to the library and guess how many candy pieces are in the jar. Best guess wins a prize.
Reading Competition: Students...it's almost time for our annual Spring BreakRead Across Redlands Middle SchoolBattleoftheBooks!We will be competing with alloftheother Redlands middle schools to see which school's students readthemost pages over Spring Break.Theglorious Read Across Redlands Middle SchoolBattleoftheBooksTrophy is ontheline!You will get your Spring Breakreading log in English on Friday right before Spring Break...prepareto read your eyeballsoff!There will be prizes for the top three readers in each grade level. English teachers might also be offering their own incentives. Find some good books and start reading!!
Read Across Redlands Middle Schools:In conjunction with our competition, the library will be holding a book fair through Barnes and Noble in Redlands.The book fair will start this Friday March 16 and run through Sunday March 25th.To participate go to Barnes and Noble and mention Redlands Middle Schools when you check out.You can also purchase online…just enter the book fair ID #12347399at checkout!Need that number again, check on our website under the Library Tab!The school with the most pages read will receive 40% of the funds raised while the other schools receive 20%.All funds will be used to purchase new books for the library!
SPRING PICTURE DAY: is Thursday March 15th in the morning only. Pictures must be pre-ordered on-line before picture day. Students will need to bring their completed order form with them to the photographer.
ATTENTION 8TH GRADERS GOING OR POSSIBLY GOING TO CVHS NEXT YEAR: You’re invited to an open house on April 4th to talk with high school students about what you can expect in high school. Sign up in the career center to attend this event.
DRAMA AWARDS NIGHT: will be on Saturday April 14th at 7pm in the MPR. Students in Advanced Drama, Improv and the cast and crew of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever are all invited!
CVHS CHEER: Tryout information will be Monday, April 2nd, 6:30-8:00 in the Bistro. Attend mandatory parent student meeting for the 2018-2019 tryouts.
REV CHEER:WILDCATS WANNA CHEER ON OUR WILDCATS NEXT YEAR? Attend our mandatory parent student meeting and get 2018-2019 tryout information. Monday April 2nd, 6:30-8:00 at REVHS administration office upstairs. Come grab a flyer at the student center for more information!!
REDLANDS ART ASSOCIATION: Is having Spring Art Camps February-May. Come pick up a flyer at the student center if you’re interested in learning more information!
HARKINS MOVIE TICKETS: PTSA is selling Harkins movie tickets every Thursday before and after school to help support music and drama boosters. Tickets are $8. Sales will take place at the east entrance gate between the main office and basketball courts.
CLEMENT USB DRIVES: 8GB drives available for $6. Go see Mrs. Fry in C-3 to purchase one.
