FarmerFest Announcement
It gives us great pleasure to announce that LHS Killough will be hosting FarmerFest on May 19th. This will be a day that we will celebrate the accomplishments and successes of our wonderful student body. FarmerFest will begin after both lunches on May 19th. This will be an exciting afternoon filled with games, concessions, a kickball game, and several exciting opportunities for everyone to get involved. Students will have an opportunity to sign up (via Google Doc) for the many events that we will be hosting from Wednesday May 8-Wednesday May 17th. A description of each activity will be attached to its corresponding sign-up sheet. We are excited and eager to sign up as many students as we can for each of the events.

We will have computers set up so kids can sign up for FarmerFest in the library if they don’t have an iPad.

Time is running out if you want to order your yearbook! The time to do so is now! To order a yearbook, please go to yearbookforever.com - http://yearbookforever.com. There is also a poster that contains all the students who already ordered one.

May WYP Announcement

Did you know ...Most military bases have several field houses which contain weight rooms, indoor pools and indoor tracks, racquetball and basketball courts (with plenty of hoops and balls). Most have hot tubs and saunas too. As a kid growing up on a military base, and as a Marine, Mr. Badyna spent many hours in these field houses. They are so much fun and offer many things to do for those in the military and their families.

AVID Relay for Life Decoration Announcement

The AVID Relay for Life Decorations committee is meeting after school to make the decorations on Tuesday May 9th and Tuesday May 16th. We may need to add an additional day depending on how much work we can get done.

iPad Announcement

You have five school days to report your iPad lost, stolen, or damaged. You can turn in your iPad for repair in the library during block lunch. Please get this done this week. If you wait much longer, we can't guarantee that it will be back before the end of the year and you will have to go to the Bolin Center over summer break to turn it in or pick it up. If your iPad is lost or broken over the summer, please go directly to the Bolin Center at Main St and Garden Ridge to report it. Let's get our iPads squared away before summer break!
