Strength & Conditioning Program Descriptions

Soccer Conditioning: The soccer conditioning class is designed around the 6 major factors that make a well-conditioned soccer player. Endurance, speed, flexibility, strength, agility, and explosiveness. The program will incorporate sports related drills to increase and help develop these 6 factors. The course will also improve soccer ability by increasing injury prevention, reaction, foot speed, strength and coordination. This course will get the athlete in game ready condition by mimicking game speed tempo and play.
Intro to Weight: The Intro to Weight class is a great course for any beginner in the weight room. This class is designed to provide the knowledge needed to be able to safely and properly exercise independently. The course will break down the movements of free weight, or any type of resistance training. This class will teach proper form, spotting, and safety techniques. As well as teaching basic program design, anatomy of the body and periodization to help develop personal exercise plans on your own.
Youth Development: This class is specifically designed to positively teach fundamentals and develop proper running mechanics, increase athletics performance and help with injury prevention. This is accomplished by performing a variety of speed, agility, and footwork drills that will increase form, mechanics and muscle coordination. This class also uses basic strength training, as well as plyometric and explosive movements to help build strength, power, and aid in injury prevention. Resulting in an overall increased athletic performance on the field or court.
Athletes Advantage: Dynamic warm-up, speed development, plyometrics, agility, functional strength training, stretching, and planned recovery.
Functional Fitness: Adult fitness with a blend of resistance training, cardiovascular intervals, flexibility, and core strength for a total body workout. The perfect program to help lose weight, lower body fat, increase balance and flexibility. Speed/Agility/Conditioning: Providing the building blocks to increase speed, agility and conditioning in a positive environment. In this class, the athlete will perform specific workouts that focus on the development of running mechanics, footspeed, acceleration, top-end speed, and speed endurance all while getting the athletes into game ready condition. Using sports related movements and drills the athletes will increase proper movements that will transition onto the field or court.
Co-ed Baseball/Softball Strength & Speed: A condensed version of the 12 week baseball and softball programs for high school athletes that will be an on-going class throughout the fall. Each class will focus on a combination of strength and speed exercises. It is designed for athletes whose schedule doesn't permit them to attend the 12 week program.
