1. With population increase and resulting need for development, is the Cotswolds environment safe?

a) will our future Cotswolds environment encourage the current high levels of tourism?
b) can the Cotswolds’ current high quality of life be maintained?

3. Due to increasing development pressures, changes in farming and forestry practices, lack of appropriate management, etc, there has been a decline in wildlife habitats and species. Can we halt this situation? Can we improve our habitats in the future?
4. Will increasing traffic congestion, and the resulting need for road widening and other improvement schemes, improve or damage our environment?
Health, welfare and community
1. Do you think that current healthcare arrangements in Stow could be improved? If yes, how?
2. We will be having a new surgery in Stow in due course. In addition to the doctors’ and nurses’ rooms, the pharmacy and reception as at present, what other facilities do you think would be helpful for patients and the public?
3. Would a general “Health Information Centre” in the surgery be helpful? If yes, what would you like to see included in it?
4. Is there enough information provided in town directing us to other healthcare facilities such as opticians, dentists, chiropodists, Social Services, etc? If not, how could they be more easily identified?
Traffic, parking and transport
1. As a general principle, should pedestrians have priority in our town?

Planning and housing
1. Accepting that some new houses will be built in Stow over the next 25 years, what would you like those houses to look like (design, feel, aesthetics, etc), and what features should they include (such as gardens, parking, public green spaces, etc)?
2. Do you know anybody who wants to buy or rent a home in Stow but cannot find anything suitable? If so, is it because prices are too high or the types required are not available?
