Treasurer’s Report

  1. Receipts Reimbursement – pay for buses for H.S. going to Lincoln movie & students to PAC in March to still out there.

Teacher/Organization Request – None at this time.

Movie Licensing – In February of 2014 our license expires. We need to make sure we renew at that time.

2012/13 Fundraising Opportunities -

  1. United Community Card Fundraising – There are some changes going on in the company. Peggy and Lisa will follow up with our contact to see how that is going.
  2. Lia Sophia Fundraiser Update - No one has heard what was made for the fundraiser. Lisa will contact Becca to find out and report back to us at the next meeting.
  3. Tastefully Simple Fundraiser – Our thought is to hold this in March as that is when the new Tastefully Simple catalogs come out. Jill will contact Sue VandenHogen and work with her on this fundraiser.
  4. Other ideas - Liz heard that the D.Q. in Chilton does what Culver’s does with giving a certain percentage of the profits from a particular night. Lisa will contact them and bring the details back at the next meeting.

Movie Night – We discussed finding a few new people that would be willing to coordinate movie night. Lisa will contact Peggy regarding details that go into movie night. The basic areas to be overseen are video projector and sound set up, concessions, and advertisement. We will train anyone interested. If you are interested, please contact Lisa Averkamp.

Liz will get a list of movies with dates they come out and email it to us.

Other Student/Community Activity Ideas - What about the “Carnival Night”? It was a fun and successful night last year with many families participating. Last year was Peggy & Elizabeth’s last year heading up an event like this. In order for this to continue we need a group of people willing to coordinate everything that goes on that night. Lisa will ask Peggy if she would be willing to make a list of what was done last year and where items were rented or purchased. We would like to see a night like this continue so if you are interested or have any other great ideas, please contact Lisa Averkamp.

Next Meeting: Monday, February 4in the Cafeteria at 6:00 p.m.
