Objective: Research and apply life processes to a given animal.

Procedure:

  • You will research how your animal/plant perform the 8 LIFE PROCESSES discussed during notes and create a PowerPoint and present your information to the class.
  • Format for the PowerPoint has been provided in a rubric below
  • Total of 4 slides; each slide has two life processes, the information for the life processes and two pictures
  • Time limit has been provided
  • Unit 15 (Plant) & Unit 16 (Animal) in your handbookwill be helpful for general information

Individual component: Everyone in the group will submit a written summary about the life processes of their animal/plant. The summary WILL be longer than 4 sentences. You should discuss each of the life processes and how they apply to your animal/plant. The summaries are NOT written as a group and everyone’s should be different.

  • Assign them to memorize the STERNGRR words and definitions
  • Ask for examples in class during notes
  • Next have them flip through Units 15 and 16 to familiarize themselves with the available notes
