D.  Informal dinner and discussion afterwards at Dr. Theune’s

II. Dues

A.  PLEASE get these in ASAP (to Julie Lappin at the English House)

  1. New member dues: One time $37 international induction fee + $5 chapter dues = $42
  2. Current member chapter dues: $5
  3. Still need $$ from following current members: Jessica Jacoby, Kristina Katz, Alyson Krawczyk, Renee Scherer, Sehaj Sethi, and Jessica Wiley

III. Initiation

A.  Date: January 27, 2008 @ 2 pm

B.  Location: Davidson Room

C.  Speaker: Dr. Plath

D.  Committees: (PLEASE sign up for one of the following committees in the next week or so; the signup sheets are at the desk in the English House)

  1. Program – responsible for putting together the program for initiation based on a prototype
  2. Food – responsible for baking/buying food for initiation
  3. Welcoming – responsible for greeting people at the door before initiation begins

IV. The Delta

A. Who will be editor-in-chief this year? Duties include:

- Encouraging people to join the editorial board

- Sending out a call for papers

- Overseeing selection meeting

- Overseeing layout and design

B. Especially great if you’re thinking about being on exec next year…

C. Talk to Valerie for more details (she did this last year J)

V. 50/50 Raffle

A. Men’s basketball game (vs. Millikan) February 13, 2008 @ 7:30 pm

B. We will have signups for shifts at our next meeting (1/24) (shifts will each be a half hour, from 6:30-8:30)
