Station Summaries
The Ten Commandments
- Art:Students will create and decorate a Ten Commandments mini-book minibook that helps explain the Ten Commandments and our needfor a Savior.
- Computer:Students will use either “The Ten Commandments”software or “The Play ‘n Learn Children’s Bible” software to exploreMt. Sinai and the Ten Commandments.
- Games:Games such as “In/Not In” and a matching game will help to reinforce the meanings of the Ten Commandments.

Joshua and Caleb
- Art:Students will recreate a scene from the story with a diorama.
- Games:An obstacle course and balloons will help students learn about trusting in God. A “Zonk” question and answer game will test their knowledge of the story.
- Science: Several science experiments will demonstrate trusting inGod and following His plan.
- Storytelling:Students will go “spying” on 2 scavenger hunts to find props that will help them to tell the Bible Story.

Martin Luther and the Reformation
- Cooking:Students will hear the story of Martin Luther, using candiesto emphasize important parts. They will then decorate a cookie to resemble the Luther Rose.
- Drama: Students will act out various scenes relating to Luther andthe Reformation.
- Storytelling: As the students listen to the story, they will “nail”stickers/pictures relating to the story to their “door”.
- Video: Students will watch “The Torchlighters Heroes of the Faith:The Martin Luther Story”.

Christmas Through the Eyes of Joseph
- Art:Students will make a special 3 part Christmas ornament that depicts the three key episodes of the scriptures in this story.
- Missions: Students will take part in a mission project (possibly putting together simple ornaments to be included in the Forest Park Food Pantry Christmas boxes).
- Video:Students will watch a portion of the video “The Promise: Birth of the Messiah”.

Wilderness Wanderings
- Art:Students will create a personal sand-story in a bottle whose layers, colors, and inserted objects help tell the story and "bottle" its meaning.
- Cooking: Students will go on a “Progressive Dinner” journey and eat various foods relating to stories about the wilderness wanderings.
- Science:Students will read about various locations in the Wilderness Wanderings and place symbols relating to these stories on a large map.

The Bible
- Cooking: Students will bake cinnamon sugar flatbread as they learn how the Word of God is like bread.
- Games: A blindfold/flashlight game will show students how God’sWord is a light to their path. They will also play games to help learnthe books and categories of books in the Bible.
- Video:Students will watch “The Amazing Bible Series: The AmazingBook” to learn about the Bible and its purpose.
Station Summaries
- Art: Students will make a seed mosaic of a simple Christian symbol.
- Computer: A quiz game on “The Fall of Jericho” software will test the students’ understanding of the story.
- Cooking: Students will help decorate (and then eat) a “story cake”, with various decorations representing parts of the story.
- Games: Students explore being receptive to God’s Word using a life-size game board.

Jesus Washes the Disciples’ Feet
- Missions: Students will put together “foot care kits” for the homeless.
- Puppets: Students will retell the story using sock puppets that they have created.

- Games: Students play several games that focus on the idea of believing even when you don’t see.
- Science: Students will visit various stations to explore Thomas, Jesus, and faith using their five senses.
- Video: Students watch the Nest video “He is Risen!” and/or “The Gospel of John”.

Pentecost
- Art: Students will use their breath and a straw to create a Pentecost painting.
- Cooking:Students will create a "Shavu'ot" (Pentecost) Feast by making fruit & cheese "blintzes" and thinking about how each ingredient reminds us of the Spirit's goodness to us.
- Drama:Students will discuss the story and then act it out.
- Science: While launching a model rocket, students will consider: “What’s your Launchpad?” “Who powers your faith?” “How are you guided?”
