Go around the room and complete the following using the Task Direction Sheet. Misconduct will result in removal from the room.

Station #1: Eye Wash:Notes:

teacher. Note that the teacher should always be notified

regardless of who is helping initially.

Station #2: Goggle Cabinet:Notes:

#3 The goggles should face with the outside lenses down and the

part that touches your face toward the top of the cabinet.

#4 This ensures that the goggles get sterilized well by the UV

light inside the cabinet.

#5 Anytime we work with fire, chemicals, dissections, glassware

& heat, and sharp objects

#8 Take the safety blanket out of the canister. Open the safety

blanket, and wrap it around the person on fire to smother

the flames.

Station #4: Lab BenchNotes:

#9 In the middle of the counter or away from the edge so that it does not accidentally get knocked off.

#10 If you break glassware. Resist the urge to touch it or help

clean it up. Back away from the area, notify fellow

classmates and inform the teacher so that he/she may clean

it up properly.

Station #5: Fire ExtinguisherNotes:

Station #6: Gas/Electricity shut off

#12 To cut the supply of gas to the lab benches

#15Students are asked not to enter the prep rooms without

explicit teacher permission or instruction because there are

dangerous chemicals like flammables and corrosives in the

prep room, along with other safety risks.
