Introduction

  1. Project Leader shall fill in and submit the “State Key Laboratory of Geohazard Prevention and Geoenvironment Protection Open Fund Conclusion Report” (hereinafter referred to as “Conclusion Report”),which is taken as an important file of the research work ofState Key Laboratory of Geohazard Prevention and Geoenvironment ProtectionOpen Fund funding project and the main evidence of project acceptance and assessment.
  2. Project Leader shall peruse the relevant regulations and procedures of State Key Laboratory of Geohazard Prevention and Geoenvironment Protection Open Fund project management and financial management (referring to ),basing on the research, to write“Conclusion Report” and provide necessary materials, whose reliability shall be ensured.
  3. Project support institution shall carefully verify and submit the “Conclusion Report” before December 31stin duplicate, and at the same time send the electronic version to the Laboratory’s mailbox, .
  4. “Conclusion Report” is composed of the body part, the catalogue of research results, thereview and the attachment, etc. The format and content of which can refer to the writing outline and instruction in the main body, which can be adjusted according to requirement.

The Writing Outline and Instruction of “Conclusion Report”

The “Conclusion Report” of funding project is divided into: 1) the main body, 2) the catalogueof research results, 3) the signature of project leader and the review from institution, 4) attachment. Project leader shall seriously write as per the following outline and instruction, which can be adjusted according to requirement, like adding column or diagrams.

It is requested to comprehensively report the funding project working situation and research progress in the“Conclusion Report”, faithfully reflecting the funding project research plan, implementation, main progress and results,expenditure, research adjustment and etc., with research progress and research results the priority. Please as meticulous as possible to write and check the report, making sure the contentis authentic and the data accurate.

  1. For the body part of the report, please refer to the outline to write, which can be adjusted according to requirement, withcontent well-arranged and accurate. The main item of this part includes:

1) Abstract and keywords. Generalize the main idea of the project, as the background, direction, main point, important results, critical data and scientific significance of the research, etc.

2)Research plan and implementation. Expound whether the project is carried out as planned, or whether there is adjustment, and the corresponding reasons.

3) Research progress and research results. This part is the core in the “Conclusion Report”, which provides the foundation for other scholars’ further research with its academic value. It requires project leader and project undertaker to write seriously about the representative research result, illustrating its influence, scientific significance or application prospect, etc.

4) Existing problem, suggestion and other case to be illustrated. This part includes the difficulties and experience in the project, and whether the project reaches the expected goals, if not, analyzing the reason and possible solution.

  1. Catalogue of research result and data statistics

In order to obtain the real research result of the funding project, it requires the data accurate and corresponding in different tables.

The research result can be characterized as the following six categories: “journal article, patent, software copyright register certificate, monograph, academic award and other”. Please classify them into the six categories and number them. The format of whichshall be as follows:

1)Journal article: Author. Title [J]. Journal, edition year, the volume number (issue number): page number;

2)Patent:inventor, applicant, patent name, patent number, date of issue. In which, the inventor shall include the laboratory contact person of the project, and applicant shall include Chengdu University of Technology;

3)Software copyright register certificate: software name,copyright owner, completion date of development, register number. In which, the copyright owner shall include the laboratory contact person of the project.

4)Monograph：Author. Book title [M]. Publication place:publishing house, publication year. In the description of the monograph, it shall be stated as “funded by State Key Laboratory of Geohazard Prevention and Geoenvironment Protection Open Fund (number)”.

5)Academic award: awardtitle, award type and grade, winner, award authority, winning institution, and date of award.

6)Other: illustrate according to the actual situation.

Note: in terms of the expenditure, applicant shall strictly follow the related regulation of China Ministry of Finance or Ministry of Science and Technology {version [2008]531}, “including the material cost related to research, test and process cost, travel expenditure, conference related cost, publication/literature/information transmission/intellectual property related expense, consulting fee, labor cost, senior visiting scholar expenditure, etc. ”.
