1- The Ministry of Industry and Minerals - State Co. of Fertilizers South Region(SCF) (hereinafter referred to as “the Employer”) now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the CONSTRUCTION & COMPLETION WORKS INCLUDING INSTALLATION OF EQUIPMENTS& with PIPING,INST.,ELE. WORK,STEEL STRUCTURE, PAINTING, CATALYST LOADING,REFRACTORY WORK REQUIRED)(hereinafter referred to as “the Works”).
2-Confidentiality Obligation
The bidding documents contain information pertaining to licensors, Haldor Topsoe for Ammonia Unit and SAIPEM/SNAMPROGETTI for UreaUnit, and an engineering contractor who engaged in the construction ofexisting plants. The parties who have interest in inspecting the bidding documents or purchasing those documents are required to submit to the State Company of Fertilizers South Region (SCF) the following document Prior to purchasing the Bidding Documents:.
- Notification indicating acceptance of the confidentiality obligation to cover the whole information (the standard form as per attached)
3-Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspection of the BiddingDocuments at the office of "State Co. of Fertilizers South Region (SCF), Khor Al-Zubair, Basrah, IRAQ

4-A complete set of the Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application t the address above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of [1000 USA Dollar]. The method of payment will beby direct deposit to:
TRADE BANK OF IRAQ/ Basrah Branch
ACCOUNT NO. 005-002579-005 (for State Company of Fertilizers South Region)
The document will be sent by Data Storage Service and airmail.
The Bidder shall inform the Employer whether the Bidder will submit a bid or notwithin fourteen (14) calendar days after receipt of Bidding Document
5. Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 11:00 GMT on(27 November 2012)and must be accompanied by a security of 1%fbid amount.
6- Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidder’ representatives who choose to attend at 6 :00 GMT on 28 Nov. 2012 at the office of SCF / Khor Al Zubair BASRA .
