Welcome to the 2018 season which marks the 58th season in school history. Monroe Area Baseball has a strong tradition of success both on and off the field. We have a great group of young men that have dedicated themselves to a year round effort of constant improvement. Here are some of the highlights of our tradition and recent success:
2015 Graduate Jacob Olson was taken in the 2016 MLB draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks. He signed with the University of South Carolina this fall and is now playing in the SEC.
2014 Graduate Wesley Wommack signed with Georgia College and State University preceding the 2016 season. He was recognized as the 2016 Freshman of the Year for the Peachbelt Conference.
Our 2017 Team had the best season in recent years winning 14 games and staying in the playoff race until the last day of the season. The 2018 Team returns a lot of good players and expects to be highly successful.
The Monroe Area Baseball Program supports and promotes Character Education with our players. During fall semester, all players complete a Character Education Course, participate in Mental Toughness Training, and work on team building.
The Monroe Area Baseball Program will touch the lives of over 100 young men through our High School and Middle School Teams as well as our feeder programs and camps.
The City of Monroe has a proud tradition of supporting our school and baseball program.
