HEARTBREAKERS: “Losing My Religion”

Jack Wagner

In 1982, Wagner won his first professional gigon the cable drama A New Day in Eden. Soon after, he had a limited run on the Dallas spin-off Knots Landing. Wagner’s big break came in 1983, when he auditioned for mega producer Gloria Monty to play the supporting role of rocker Frisco Jones on General Hospital. He starred in national tours of Westside Story and Grease. After a two-year hiatus, he returned to television as General Hospital’s Frisco Jones. Wagner dabbled in theater, television guest shots, and movies before landing the role of Dr. Peter Burns on Melrose Place, where he remained for five seasons. In January 2000, Wagner landed his first starring Broadway role as the title characters in Jekyll & Hyde. Wagner’s other professional credits include the movies Moving Target, Swimsuit, Play Murder for Me, Trapped in Space, Ladykiller, Frequent Flyer, Echo, Dirty Little Secret, Artificial Lies, Nowhere to Land, Trapped, Cupid’s Prey and Ghost Dog. In 2003, Wagner again surprised the industry by returning to daytime. Bradley Bell offered him the opportunity to develop the character of Dominick Payne on his internationally beloved series The Bold & the Beautiful. In 2005, Wagner garnered an Emmy nomination for his role on the series. On a more humanitarian front, Wagner is also an avid supporter of AIDS research charities and the American Cancer Society. He’s served as the chairperson for two AMFAR Boathouse Rock events in New York’s Central Park. His most notable endeavor has been his work with the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.

Rob Estes

Estes first became interested in an acting career while training to be a stunt double. One of his first acting jobs was in the soap opera Days of Our Livesplaying Glenn Gallagher (1986–1987). He later gained widespread recognition for his role as Sergeant Chris Lorenzo inSilk Stalkings (1991–1995). In 1993, Estes had a guest role on the prime time Foxsoap operaMelrose Place. FollowingMelrose Placehe had guest starring roles onProvidence, Suddenly Susan, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and Gilmore Girls. He also performed on stage, and had roles inSame Time, Next Year(2004) andThe Lake(2005). Estes starred in the comedy I Do, They Don’t (previously titledBlended), which premiered onABC Familyin March 2005, which also starred hisMelrose Placeco-star and then-wifeJosie Bissett.He made his return to series television playing Sean Cole in the ABC television crime dramaThe Evidence.In May 2008, Estes was cast asHarry Wilson in 90210 on The CW.

Jamie Luner

Before landing her first real role on Just the Ten of Us in 1988 as “Cindy Lubbock”, Luner began her career as an actress at the tender age of three doing commercials. After graduating high school in 1989, she took a break from acting when Just the Ten of Us was cancelled in 1991, and attended culinary school. While catching small parts here and there onWith Married with Children, Luner jumped back into the game full-time when she received her break as Southern seductress “Peyton Richards” in Savannah. During the same year, she joined the cast of Profiler for the character “Rachel Burke”.By 2005, Luner had numerous leading roles in Lifetime movies such as, Blind Injustice, Stranger in My Bed, The Suspect, and The Perfect Marriage.In April of 2009, Luner joined the cast ofAll My Children as “Liza Colby” but in 2011 the show was cancelled. Staring in more Lifetime movies such as Walking the Halls, Stalked at 17 and The Perfect Boss, Luner has now been cast in the new Investigation Discovery series Heartbreakers.

HEARTBREAKERS: “Shot Through the Heart”

Christopher Knight

Christopher Knight started acting from the young age of seven, staring in various commercials and shows such as Gunsmoke and Mannix. His first break was the role of “Peter Brady” in The Brady Bunch. However, in 1988 his life took a turn when he decided to pursue a career in the computer industry loggingMartec Inc.’s first $1 million sales orders in his first eighteen months. Realizing his true calling, Knight jumped back into acting by becoming the spokesperson for the American Counseling Associations “Healthy Skin, Healthy Outlook” campaign. Knight was awarded the Gold Triangle Award for in both 2002 and 2003 for his hard work. In 2003, he also hosted a segment on the Travel Channel’s TV Road Trip and later went on to participate in Discovery Fit and Health Channel’s Body Challenge. Knight has now been cast on Investigation Discovery’s new seriesHeartbreakers.

Antonio Sabato Jr.

Sabato Jr. has proven to be one of the hottest commodities to come out of daytime television, nabbing a series of prime-time roles and appearing in the most successful Calvin Klein underwear campaign in the company’s history. Sabato Jr. was most recently seen guest-starring on the CBS hit CSI: New York and on ABC’s comedy Scrubs after completing the first season of his hit reality show My Antonio for VH1. Sabato Jr.’s next television role will be in the TNT hit, Rissoli & Isles, while his next big-screen project will be starring in director Penelope Spheeris’ comedy Balls to the Wall. Sabato Jr. was most recently seen in the lead role as series killer Henry Lee Lucas in the indie featyreDrifter: The Henry Lee Lucas Story, for which he won Best Actor at the 2009 Beverly Hills Film Festival. In 2008, he guest-starred on the hit CBS drama NCIS and also starred in the movies Ghost Voyage for the Sci-Fi Channel and Destination: Infestation for Lifetime Television. Sabato Jr. reprised his famed General Hospital character, Jagger Cates for SoapNet’sNight Shift after winning NBC’s hot summer series Celebrity Circus, where he performed nearly impossible “Cirque de Soileil-esque” acts. Previously, Sabato Jr. starred on the popular CBS daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful, playing a role created specifically for him. Sabato Jr. has made guest appearances on such notable shows as FOX’s Ally McBeal and the WB’s Charmed. He also starred in the WB’s comedy The Help. He is a fitness and auto-racing enthusiast, as well as an accomplished author (No Excuses: Workout for Life).

Tracey Gold

Tracey’s first starring role on television was that of‘Missy Ann’ in the ABC mini-series Roots. Since then, Gold has accumulated an impressive number of television movie credits. She has had starring roles in Shattered Trust and Stolen from the Heart. Other credits include: Captain of Kings, Night Cries, Little Moe, Jennifer: A Woman’s Story, The Secret of Harvest Moon, The Child Stealer, Walt Disney’s Escape from Witch Mountain, A Few Days at Weasel Creek, Marilyn: the Untold Story, Labor of Love, Thursdays Child, Who Will Love My Children, Another Woman’s Child, Lots of Luck and A Reason To Live. In addition, she was the title character in the ABC television movie For the Love of Nancy. Tracey has also starred in many television specials, such as the CBS Emmy Award winning Kelly vs. Kelly, I think I’m Having a Baby, If Wishes Were Horses, The Hand Me down Kid and Senior Prom. Not limiting herself only to television, Tracey has also ventured into feature films and theatre. She co-starred in several feature films such as Shoot the Moon, Best of Times, Wanted, and Tailspin. Gold is also a welcomed guest on numerous talk shows having made multiple appearances on Regis and KellyandOprah.Tracey has recently made her mark in reality television as well. She was a guest host on The View, a contestant on Celebrity Mole and also hosted her own show for the TV Guide Channel entitled Lost in TV Guide. Most recently, she hashosted a show for TLC, The Secret Life of a Soccer Mom.

HEARTBREAKERS: “Tainted Love”

Starring Judd Nelson, Kevin Sorbo and Nicole Eggert

Judd Nelson

Born in Portland, Maine, Judd attended St. Paul’s preparatory school in Concord, New Hampshire before majoring in philosophy at the prestigious Haverford College in Pennsylvania. The acting bug bit when he went to watch a friend’s audition, and was obliged to audition in order to stay. After graduation, Judd headed for New York City and the Stella Adler Conservatory, where he was believable in the role of “street-smart Eddie Keaton” in the comedy Making the Grade (1984). Judd’s next film role was that of Phil Hicks, in the ensemble comedy Fandango (1985). Important and diverse roles in the brat-pack films The Breakfast Club (1985) and St. Elmo’s Fire(1985) quickly followed. With his privileged upbringing, Judd could have brought the right degree of preppy-smarminess to any number of vapid roles, but his intense stare and dark smoldering looks gave him a hint of danger that added to his credibility in films like the Billionaire Boys Club (1987), From the Hip (1987) and New Jack City (1991). Since then, Nelson has appeared in numerous films and television movies, including Light It Up (1999), Cabin by the Lake (2000) and The Black Hole (2006). He has also guest starred on many popular shows, such as C.S.I. Crime Scene Investigation Las Vegas, and Heartbreakers.

Kevin Sorbo

Kevin started his career in television withhis first appearances on Prime Time shows such asMurder She WroteandThe Commish. In 1993, Kevin emerged as a full-fledged international TV star when he was cast as the lead role of Hercules in a series of TV films that would lay the groundwork for the immensely popular series,Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. Kevinalso guest-starred as Hercules in episodes of the successful spin-off series Xena: Warrior Princesswhile also providing his voice to the animated Hercules films. Just as the Hercules series came to an end, Kevin received a call from the wife of Star Trek creatorGene Roddenberry, personally requesting him to play the lead role in Roddenberry’s second sci-fi series,Andromeda. In 1997, Kevin acceptedhis first leading film role in the fantasy action featureKull the Conqueror. Kevin guest starred on the sitcomTwo and a Half Menand played a recurring role on the final season of The O.C. In addition to his work onscreen, Kevin also produces films,recently serving as Executive Producer and star of the movieAbel's Field. Kevin recently authored the widely praised book,True Strength, which recounts the painful recovery from serious health setbacks that changed his life during his Hercules years. In 2005, he was named successor toArnold Schwarzeneggeras the national spokesperson forThe Afterschool Alliance, a nonprofit working to ensure that all children have access to quality after schoolprograms, and since ‘97 Kevin has donated his time as the spokesperson for the non-profit organization,A World Fit For Kids.

Nicole Eggert

Born in Glendale, California, Eggert started acting as a baby, appearing in commercials, including spots for Johnson’s Baby Shampoo. After appearing on T.J. Hooker and Who’s the Boss? she landed the role of Jamie Powell on the popular sitcom Charles in Charge. Eggert transformed from child star to sex symbol in 1992, when she landed a role on popular beach action drama Baywatch. Since leaving Baywatch, Eggert has appeared on reality television shows such as The Real Gilligan’s Island, Celebrity Fit Club, Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff, Splash, and Heartbreakers.
