RIDER/ATTACHED TO AND MADE AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE AGREEMENT DATED ____ BETWEEN ____ F/S/O HOLLYWOODLAND starring CHRISTINA BIANCO, JIM CARUSO AND BILLY STRITCH, herein defined as (ARTIST) and ___ herein defined as purchaser.

A. PROMOTION

1) All photographs, biographies and content for playbills, posters, flyers, newspaper and magazine advertisements,

radio/television ads must be approved by ___, representatives. When playbills/programs permit,

approved biographies of ARTISTS MUST BE INCLUDED.

A. BASIC STAGING REQUIREMENTS

.  1) Presenter agrees that the house will not be opened to the public until one-half hour prior to the advertised starting time of the performance.

.  2) Presenter agrees that no news photography or television coverage is to take place during the performance without prior written approval of the ARTIST. a) Absolutely no film, video or audio recording of the performance is permitted except by the ARTIST without prior written approval of the ARTIST.

.  3) ARTIST requires one (1) black Grand Piano (preferably Yamaha, Steinway, Baldwin) no less than 7’ long, in perfect working order and tuned to A440 pitch prior to Technical Rehearsal on same day of performance. Presenter should have tuner on call for any possible work to the piano between Technical Rehearsal and Performance.

.  4) The house curtain is not used during the performance

.  5) HOLLYWOODLAND is performed on a plain stage; a black floor is preferred, and the stage should be hung with black legs and borders and a black scrim, upstage of which (at least 5') should be hung a white cyc or similar bounce drop. No additional scenic pieces are required and nothing flies during the performance.

.  6) In addition to the staging, technical and backstage requirements outlined herein, Presenter will provide, at its sole cost and expense two small black stools upstage of the playing area on which there should be two glasses of bottled water.

.  7) ARTISTS require two (2) 28” Black, backless, wooden stools for onstage performance. The stools must be newly painted or in excellent condition as they will be used throughout the performance.

.  8) ARTIST requires no fewer than four (4) separate dressing rooms which should contain mirrors, a lavatory, sink and when possible, a shower (with hot running water) and contain a cot or sofa. Dressing Room shall be locked or guarded while ARTIST is onstage and should be far enough away from the audience as to allow for vocalizing while the house is open. Presenter will provide at its sole cost and expense the following hospitality items: a) 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 face towels in each dressing room. b) One (1) iron, ironing board and clothes steamer in perfect working order. c) A selection of beverages with glasses, which must include, bottled drinking water, hot water for tea, Cokes. d) A small selection of chips and deli meats to be shared by the performers in the star dressing room. In the event of two (2) shows occurring with less than a 3-hour break between them, a meal is to be provided. Specifics of this meal should be discussed with the ARTIST’s representative.

.  9) ARTIST requires professional quality stage lighting & sound (as specified in the Technical Requirements) with a minimum of three (3) house technical staff for set-up and operation. b) The installation and checking of all lighting and sound requirements should be completed in time for a ‘technical rehearsal’ at four (4) hours prior to advertised starting time of the performance, at which time lighting, sound and follow spot personnel must be present.

A. SOUND REQUIREMENTS

PRESENTER must provide a first class sound system for HOLLYWOODLAND. The sound system is to include console, mics (as specified,) power distribution, cable & adapters, mic stands, gaffers’ tape and all other equipment to render the sound system operational. The following specifics are required:

Console: 1 Main House Console with at least 16 Inputs with PFL, 4 band EQ (at least 2 sweepable mids), stereo FOH mix and at least six (6) auxiliary sends (4 for monitors.) i.e. Alan & Heath GL, Yamaha 916. All sound system components shall be powered from the same grounded A/C source and shall be independent of the lighting's service.

Outboard Gear: 1 Professional Quality reverb unit (Yamaha SPX 900 or 990) 1 Professional MP3 recorder or Zoom to record show from board feed 1 Blank SD card Stereo Headphones for Console and recorder

Microphones, cables & Stands: ARTISTS require three (3) matching high quality vocal microphones - two (2) wireless, one (1) wired for backup and one (1) on boom for pianist (Shure Beta 87, or Shure 58.) In addition, quality mic'ing of the piano must be provided (with both a pickup and two (2) AKG 414 or DPA 4099p.

Two (2) Straight Black Mic Stand with rounded base (no tripods), one (1) Straight Black Mic stand with rounded base for backup mic, one (1) black tripod stand with boom for pianist and appropriate mic clips.

One (1) DI for bass One (1) Microphone for bass

One (1) set of appropriate drum mics Cabling for backup mic to allow movement far SL or far SR.

Speakers: A high-quality speaker system to deliver smooth & accurate, full & equal coverage of entire venue. Minimum frequency range of 100hz to 18kh (Meyer, Apogee, EV, Delta Max)

Monitor Speakers: Two (2) matching monitor speakers Downstage capable of delivering a smooth and equal coverage of entire playing area (approx. 12' across.) One (1) monitor US of pianist, One (1) monitor for Bass Player, one (1) monitor for drummer. All with their own separate mix.

Intercom: Communication must be provided between the Stage Manager, Lighting & Sound consoles and Followspot operators as well as spare belt packs and headsets for emergencies as they arise.

C: LIGHTING REQUIREMENTS

Below is a list of the minimum lighting requirements for HOLLYWOODLAND. A full light plot and section drawings can be made available and will be tailored to the individual theatre's specs. They can provide information, which the presenter's technical director or lighting supervisor should use to adapt the production's needs to their facility. Because "Tech Rehearsal" happens as early as three (3) hours prior to the performance, this will expedite the Tech process by having the lighting pre-focussed.

A Cyclorama with a minimum of three (3) channels of color. Should be hung between the Scrim (when available) & the Cyc. Rosco 385 Blue, Rosco 26 Red, Rosco 23 Amber.

In addition to the “specials” specified above, HOLLYWOOD requires two (2) Followspots and operators to be available at ‘Tech Rehearsal’ and performance.
