STYLISTS
ALLISON HANSEN
Funky, cute, and smart as a whip, Allie will dazzle you with her coloring skills. She is never afraid to be a little edgy and creative. Speaking of dazzle, they’re expecting a beautiful Baby Girl Hansen soon!
EMILY BETHEL
Emily loves designing up-do’s and is extraordinary at it. Her cuts and colors reflect her painstaking work and are worth waiting for. Emily has 14 years’ experience as a stylist.
SYDNEY BROOKS
Sydney’s education at the Aveda Institute is reflected in her precision work. She is quiet until known – don’t let her subdued nature fool you. She is a whiz behind the chair and on her beloved horses!
JAN BUESSER
Education, education, education. Jan is addicted to knowledge and it shows in her creative short hair cuts. Asymmetry and all the latest hair fashions – she is one gutsy stylist. Jan has been behind the chair for 17years, and when she is not working you can find Jan barrel racing or chasing her two kids.
GRETA GUSTAVSON
Greta is “pure gold. With 12 years of experience, her skills in cutting and coloring are never off base. She is a very talented hair dresser, and has a laugh that will set you free.
AMY HEGENBART
Pamper, pamper, pamper. Amy will treat you like a queen. She is funny, fun, and a great colorist. She always always goes the extra mile. Favorite color? Blue.
GEORGIA HEINTZ
Calling all long hair – especially blondes! Georgia has turned out some of the most beautiful blondes ever seen. She was trained by David Ficocello and has a way of making everyone look good - even if you are not blonde!
DEBBIE HUERTH
Debbie is the Edward Scissorhands of the salon. With many yearsof experience (most of those here at Starr’s Sister!) she is one of the finest classic hair dressers you will ever meet – just watch her work.
KATHRYN MAMARY
Kathryn has been a hair dresser for over 16 years. Her work has a European style with a European flair. Kathryn’s time overseas shows in her perfect paired-down, sheik looks. Men love her cuts (and her). Come and visit Kathryn for a sophisticated look.
ABBEY HOLT
Abbey is the Salon’s newest member, and she is currently serving as Nancy’s fine assistant while she builds her growing clientele. A natural at special occasion up-do’s and styles, Abbey is a great addition to the Love Salon!
NANCY ORTH
30 plus years and she still loves salon life and working with fellow stylists. Every day in the salon is a party for Nancy! Living with a head full of curls for over half a century, Nancy considers herself a curly expert; she loves bobs and short cuts, too.
RESIDENT ARTISTE
JOHN ORTH
John is the resident artist at Starr’s Sister Salon (and Gallery). His work lends a flavor to the salon that you won’t find anywhere else. He will sneak through every now and then, checking to see if feet are propped up, folks are happy, and the till has enough change. He is The Man Behind the Scenes. Come in and take a look at his eclectic work.
RECEPTIONISTS
JENNI
Jenni has been a client of the salon for several years, and serves as the daytime front desk smile! Have you seen our website? Have you liked us on Facebook? Looking to book online? Jenni is loving us right into the 21st century!
JOSEFA
When she isn’t working in customer service at Mega West, Josefa serves as our part-time evening receptionist, and is a great addition to our team!
PATTY
Patty has been at the desk since Nancy lost an entire year’s books 20 years ago! She is our chief cook and bottle washer at the desk evenings and most Saturdays– to know her is to love her.
