Appropriate introductory paragraph is given – The introductory paragraph summarizes the paper's topic and scope.

Paragraphs are well formed – Paragraphs begin with a topic sentence which has a subject and a claim. The paragraph contains both facts and commentary on the facts and ends with a concluding or transitional sentence. Every sentence in the paragraph refers to the topic sentence of that paragraph.

Clear conclusion or summary is given – This summary should not contain any new facts or topics.

Mechanics

Personal pronouns such as “I” and “we” are acceptable in this paper, but this paper is still organized rather than stream of consciousness or simply a list of answers to questions.
