I. PROPOSED MOBILITY PROGRAMME
Language of training: English
Overall objectives of the mobility:According to the training needs of the STT of the University of Messina, th course will be focused on developing knowledge, skills and capabilities to apply for European Projects under HORIZON 2020 and Strategic Partnership (Key Action 2) focusing on Knowledge Alliance.
The choose of the above mentioned financings perfectly matches with the University’s project management areas.
The activities carried out will start from the very beginning (The Project Cycle Management and its phases, GANTT CHART, PERT chart, preparation and follow up) till the Impact and Dissemination elements.
Added value of the mobility (in the context of the modernisation and internationalisation strategies of the institutions involved):
The added value of the mobility is to support University STT to develop their project designing capabilities that will reinforce their technical and scientific role within the same University. Developing these competences, the University STT won’t need to engage any external project designer and as well as their professional role will be boosted because their academic role will be easily integrated with technical aspects, European Project management in this case.
That will support them to carry out modernisation strategies related to European projects and at the same time to become more international.
Activities to be carried out:
The Training Course consists of 6 working days, developed as follows:
Day 1: European Project Management: an introduction; European Policies and European Programmes; Erasmus for All – Key Action 2
Day 2: Horizon 2020 in details; Technology readiness level; H2020 in details: The partnership
Day 3: Projects Simulation; H2020 impact; Simulation: impact
Day 4: Dissemination; Simulation: Dissemination
Day 5: Best Practices: H2020 and KA2
Day 6: Networking
Expected outcomes and impact (e.g. on the professional development of the staff member and on both institutions):
University STT will develop their project designing capabilities that will reinforce their technical and scientific role within the same University. Developing these competences, the University STT will be more autonomous in designing and managing European projects with a positive impact on their professional role that will be boosted because their academic role will be easily integrated with technical aspects.
That will support them to feel more self-confident in carrying out international relations with other organizations (both academic and not), to encourage modernisation strategies related to European projects and at the same time to become more international.
