REFLECTION

The Bible is the faith-experience or God-experience of an individual or a group, written so that those who read it might have a similar experience, leading them to have a true knowledge of God – the depth of God’s love, and the purpose of their life on earth – to enjoy this love by following His commandments of loving God and loving their neighbour. We thus have four expressions of the experience of Jesus as reflected in the four Gospels. If you were to write your experience of the Good News of Jesus how would you express it? Have you seen the face of God? How have you experienced his love and how do you respond to this?
