IC ROSARY ALTAR SOCIETY will have their monthly meeting on Monday, May 22nd starting with Rosary in the church at 6:30 PM; Mass at 7 PM; then the meeting downstairs in Marian Hall.

SJ PARISH COUNCIL will have a meeting on Wednesday, May 31st at 7 PM in the social hall.
SJ & IC: ASCENSION OF THE LORD, a holy day of obligation is Thursday, May 25th. Attend Mass either on Wed., May 24 at 7 PM at SJor on Thursday, May 25 at 8 AM at SJ. Masses on Thursday at IC are6:30 AM & 7 PM.

COMMUNITY BOOK CLUB: Tuesday, May 23rd at 7 PM in Marian Hall on the book "March" by Geraldine Brooks.
125TH ANNIVERSARY OF SUMMERHILL BOROUGH: There will be a Summerhill Shuffle 5K on June 10th starting at 9 AM. Registration forms & a flyer will be in the gathering space of both churches,
SJ: During the 125th Summerhill Anniversary, our Rosary Altar Society will sponsor a baked goods booth. Our ladies would appreciate donations of baked goods and volunteers to staff our booth. If you are willing to bake and/or staff our booth please call Pam so we can make plans. Dates are Friday, June 9th from 5 to 10 PM; Saturday, June 10th from 12 Noon to 10 PM; Sunday, June 11th from 11 AM to 3 PM. We would like to make 2 hours shifts, except for Friday and have 3 people staff the booth at all times. We really need your help. So please, help is needed and greatly appreciated.
SJ: We need volunteers to help make Gobs for our baked goods booth at the Summerhill Anniversary. Gob making day will be Friday, June 2. Please call Pam and let her know if you will help with Gob making.
HERO CENTRAL VBC registration (superheroes and volunteers) forms are due today, Sunday, May 21st. Please drop them in the collection basket or into the VBC basket in the gathering space of either church before the Church is locked for the evening. Also, please turn in your coloring pages.
ST. MARY’S CEMETERY: Our policy at the cemetery: flowers, statues, crosses or other decorations can only be placed on the graves starting Memorial Day weekend and allowed to remain on for 2 weeks. Please, everything must beremoved by Sunday, June 11, 2017. The caretaker will dispose of anything left on the graves. Thank you.
SJ: We would like to extend to the family & friends of Anna Mae Bopp our sympathy in her passing. We offer you our prayerful support trusting that Anna Mae has received her final reward. Rest in peace Mom.
A TEN week Basic Catechist Video/Discussion Class is scheduled for Thursday mornings from 9-11 AM at Most Holy Trinity Parish Hall, South Fork beginning June 8. The cost is $5 each session to cover the cost of each book. If any catechist is interested in certification or any parishioner would like to attend for personal enrichment, please call Betty at 495-4419 or email o register. This is a Diocesan Certified class open to everyone. Any catechist from either SJ or IC parish interested in attending, please let us know at the rectory and the church will pay your fee.
CATHOLIC MINISTRIES DRIVE: Both drives have started out doing very well. At SJ – total pledged to date; $3,025.00 with cash received $2,235. 00. SJ target is $12,602.00. At IC – total pledged to date; $4,270.00 with cash received $3,970.00. IC target is $14,646.00. Please return all pledge envelopes to the rectory not the diocese. Please return your pledge card even if marked “none”. Thanks to all who have already responded. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. If you misplaced your pledge card or didn’t receive one – there are extra envelopes in the back of both churches that you can use.
