Before You Begin

  • The clock opens up as shown in the picture above. This adjustability lets you angle the camera as you need to.

  • Connect unit to computer using the included USB cable
  • The computer will now detect the clock

  • Once the WRITETIME program is open, you should see a letter in the field labeled “Devices” – probably E, F, or G. This means you are ready to proceed. If you don’t, your computer is not seeing see the clock. Make sure the cable is connected firmly, the switch is set to on, the MicroSD Card is inserted, and you pressed the power button on the remote.

  • The card must be inserted with the metal strips going in first and facing up (towards the side with the clock on it). It will only fit in 1 way.
  • Press it in all the way. You may have to use your nail to spring lock it in. When inserted all the way, the card will be slighted recessed.
  • To remove it, press down gently until you hear the “click” opening the spring lock. When that happens, move your finger and the card will pop out.
  • Note: There is very little reason to remove the card once inserted as the video plays back through the unit when it is connected to a computer’s USB port.

Charging the Battery

  • Connect the included USB cable to the unit
  • Connect the USB cable into an available USB port on your computer or connect it to the AC charger and plug in the charger.

  • Once the light is solid green, press and hold the left button for about 3 seconds. You will see the light flash red a few times and then turn off.
  • Once the light has finished flashing red and turned off, the unit is recording in motion detection mode. It will start and stop with activity in front of it. It will continue in this manner until the card is full, the battery dies, or you stop the recording.
