1.0Description
The recorder described shall be a Sanyo Model number TLS-1960P or equivalent. The recorder shall be an industrial grade 960-hour time-lapse security video recorder operated by 220-240 V AC or
12 V to 24V DC. .
2.0Bid Specifications
The video recorder shall be PAL compatible. The video recorder shall have the ability to record 3, 12,24, 48, 72, 96, 120, 168, 240, 360, 480, 720, or 960 hours, and 3, 12, and 24 hourswith continuous audio, using an E-180 VHS tape.
The video recorder shall have the capability of reproducing 350 lines of resolution in black and white, and 250 lines of resolution in colour. The video output shall be 1.0 V(p-p) composite video signal, 75-ohm impedance with a video signal-to-noise of greater than 45dB.
The video recorder shall have a BNC input for recording video and a BNC output for playback of video. Audio input and output shall be RCA type connectors.
The video recorder shall provide connections for alarm (1 shot) in, control in, series in, ext. timer (alarm reset) in, warning out, control out, tape end (series) out, timer out,switching pulse out, common (when the menu TERMINAL SET is set to SET1.)

The video recorder shall have a built in time and date generator with available automatic adjustment for summer time. The video recorder will have the ability to display on its on screen menu total power used time and head usage duration for maintenance purposes. The video recorder shall also have the ability to display a list of power failures and the number of failures due to condensation as well as the time and date of the most recent failure due to condensation. In addition, the video recorder shall have the ability to search for a specific time and day or alarm event. The video recorder shall have the ability to perform an alarm scan.
The video recorder shall have the ability to be controlled via the optional RS485, remote control input and optional RS232C.
The video recorder shall have a multi function shuttle ring and jog dial for fast forward/scan and rewind/review functions as well as on screen menu function control.
The video recorder shall have advanced tape handling protection functions including record retry, tape thread.
The video recorder shall have an on screen menu system for programming and set up. The programming will include, but is not limited to, language and clock settings, monitor display settings, recording modes, and program recording.
The video recorder shall provide a tape management protection system that will prevent over-recording by a specified number of days, passes over a tape and distinguish tape group number.
The video recorder shall provide a synchronization control system that saves you much time and hassle by allowing you to connect together multiple video recorders and set one as the master so that when you perform operations such ejecting, stopping, recording and menu setting at the master, the other connected video recorders(up to 9 slave video recorders) perform the same operations automatically.
The video recorder shall provide a master/slave eject. When using multiple video recorders, you can eject the tapes from all machines by pressing the EJECT button at only the master video recorder.
The video recorder shall provide a clock adjustment. When using multiple video recorders, use the clock adjustment feature to force the times on all the slave video recorder to be synchronized with the master video recorder once a day at a preset time.
The video recorder shall have seven different languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, or Portuguese in menu.
The video recorder shall have an automatic head cleaning function, and a record check function.
The video recorder shall be no larger than 420(W)x99.5(H)x306(D)mm and weight approx. 4.2kg.(9.3 lbs.)
