1.  organisation:

sr.DEN/Co-ord. is overall in-charge of Engineering branch in the Division. Besides him, there is one sectional Sr.DEN and three sectional DENs. There are 7 subdivisions - 2 with each sectional Sr.DEN/DEN and one ADEN/HQ reports to DEN/HQ. There are 16 SSE/SE (P.Way) in-charge (including one SSE/P.Way/Track depot/FL) and 11 SSE/SE (Works) in-charges on the Division.

A training school is functioning at Bandikui, headed by SSE/P. Way, which is imparting regular training to Engineering field staff (Mate, Keyman, Gangman, Gateman, Trolley man and including artisan staff).

1 / The existing Br. No. 160 BKI-JP section was having in adequate water way. Now Pre cast RCC box of size 2X1m has been laid by cut & cover method during the month July-11
2 / 7 Km TFR work has been done. Target has been achieved and the sanctioned works of TFR is also completed.
3 / 7+5T point & crossing has been replaced during the year
4 / 310.95 Km of greasing of ERC has been done
5 / 1804.85 ETKM of USFD has been done during the year
6 / A special drive for opening of joggled fish plate. Oiling & greasing joggled fish plate, examining welds touching joggled fish plates has been conducted from 20.7.2011. The details of survey is given below

15 Nos. of unmanned level crossing ( LC No. 11, 17, 20,42, 44, 58 & 59 in SWM-JP & (LC No. 8, 19, 23, 24, 26, 38, 57, 63, 112,140 &144 in RPC section) has been manned during this year.
2 / UP Gradation of Level Crossing-
6 Nos. of Level crossing has up graded to "Special class ( L. C No. 217 "A" class JP-BKI, 32 "A" class FL-MD, 226 "B" class JP-FL, 5 "B" class FL-MD, 82 "B" class SWM-JP & 243 "C" class JP-FL ) & 2 Nos. of level crossing has been up graded to "A" class ( L.C No. 2 "C" class FL-MD & 76 "C" class SWM-JP) during the month July-11 & 7 Nos "C" class level crossings ( LC No. 164, 207 BKI-JP section L.C No. 1 FL MD section, L.C No. 72 SWM-JP section, L.C No. 12, 60 RPC section & L.C No. 221 SIKR-LHU section ) upgraded to "B1" class and 4 Nos "C" class LC's (L.C No. 160, 161, 197 in BKI-JP section & L.C No. 8 FL-MD section ) upgraded to "B2" class during the month Sep-11. Two level crossings on BKI-JP Section (LC No. 213 & 214) has been upgraded during the month Dec-11, with this total 21 Nos. level crossing upgraded during the year.
3 / The aspect normal position from close to road traffic to open to road traffic on 17 Nos. of LC's out of 21 Nos. LC's has been implemented during the year.

1 / ROB in lieu of LC No 57 on DLI-RE section has been commissioned during Aug-11 .
ROB in lieu of LC No 28 on FL-MD section has been commissioned during Dec-11 .

2 / Khairthal : Providing PF shelter (30x8m) with Kota stoneflooring, Improvement to PF surface by asphalting (200 m length), providing water hydrants on PF no.1 and improvement to circulating area .
3 / Jaipur : Provision of GPS based passenger in formation system in AC coaches (33 nos.)
4 / Jaipur division ; Provision of unidirectional VHF controlled LED destination board.
5 / Provision of T-5, 2x54W fitting at PF 2/3 for improvement of Lux level and energy saving at Jaipur station.
6 / Providing of drain of PF no.5 at Jaipur station.
7 / Bandikui:- Raising of PF No. 4 & 5 from rail level to high level ( PF length 380 m) & providing covering shed (60x8m).
8 / Provision of passenger amenities i.e. drinking water, connection to toilets etc. at station of RPC Section
