Spring City Pool Rules

SPRING CITY POOL RULES

No one may enter without paying or presenting their pass. NO SHARING PASSES.

No one under the age of 11 may enter the pool without an adult or babysitter 15 or over.

All 10 & unders MUST pass a swim test in order to swim in the big pool by yourself. If an adult is in the pool with you, you may swim in the lower end of the big pool, but are prohibited from using the diving board. and swimming in the deep end.

There will be an allotted time for swimming laps as deemed possible by the Pool Manager.

Use of the wading pool is limited to toddlers and preschool age children, 5 and under. Parents are responsible for their children’s safety at all times. Children are not to be left unattended at any time in or around the wading pool.

Only small flotation devices are permitted in the pools (i.e. water wings, small tubes or floats, noodles and soft toys).

Infants and toddlers must wear a swim diaper or pull-up in all pools. These are available for purchase at the pool office.

The lifeguard is responsible for the enforcement of the pool rules and regulations. He/She has the authority to temporarily deprive any resident or guest of the use of this facility, with the Managers approval. A written statement will be filed by the lifeguard with the Pool Manager and Pool Office within 24 hours if such action is taken.

Use of the pool facilities without a lifeguard in attendance is strictly forbidden.

Admission will be refused to all persons having infectious diseases, sore or inflamed eyes, nasal or ear discharges, or any communicable disease of any kind. Only a doctor’s note will permit otherwise. Persons with excessive sunburn, open sores, or bandages of any kind will not be admitted.

Spouting of water and any similar unhygienic actions are not permitted in the pool.

No glass containers are allowed in pool area. No food will be consumed on deck and in the immediate vicinity of the pool. All trash and refuse must be placed in the receptacles provided.

No running or horseplay in or around the pool area.

No unnecessary/excessive talking to the lifeguards.

No smoking on pool property.

Possession and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages within the fenced-in pool area, or in the outside park facility is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.

You may bring food to the pool, but no food deliveries are allowed inside the gate.

We reserve the right to inspect any cooler.

No pets are allowed

No profanity - No vandalism - No stealing.

All persons using the pool’s furniture must place a towel over the lounge or chair before sitting/laying down to limit oils, body and suntan lotions from deteriorating or staining the furniture. If chairs are moved, please place them back to their original position when done.

All emergencies are to be reported to a lifeguard who will then take charge of the situation. A written statement will be filed at the pool with the Pool Manager and pool office within 24 hours.

DIVING BOARD RULES

Only one person at a time on the board.

Wait until the person in front of you reaches the ladder before you dive off.

Only one bounce on the board.

Jump off straight, not at an angle.

No sailor dives.

No back dives.

No throwing anything to the person going off the board.

THE MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO EJECT ANYONE FOR DISORDERLY BEHAVIOR OR NOT FOLLOWING POOL RULES. FUTURE ADMISSION MAY ALSO BE DENIED AT MANAGEMENTS DISCRETION.
