Spring, Can Summer be far behind?
POOL
The pool should open soon, time to pick out your suit and maybe try to loose a few pounds. OK, just pick out the suit.
NJ Support
Their Spring Banquet will be Saturday May 1, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Dinner will be served at 7:00 PM. By this time there are no more reservations.
The April meeting was on the eve of Easter and was fairly well attended. Alice showed up with her new birth certificate, but was no born again.
The Picnic
The plans for the picnic have to be worked on. If anyone has any ideas, please bring them to the meeting. If anything done in the past should be changed, now it the time to say so.
TriState Transgender
The April meeting was a trip to the Dress Barn. This was followed by a discussion of the new banner, which lead to a question of a name change. I do not know what the final decision was.
FIFTH SATURDAY
May is coming. Dinner and a movie or some new ideas. I never went out at night so I don’t know much about nightlife. Are there any dinner clubs that we could try? Some place we could stay after dinner without moving from our table.
SHOPPING
I found a store that is just for us hard to fit girls. The name is Glamour Boutique. Most of their business is on line, but you came go there and see things.
You don’t have to buy anything.
You will have the place to yourself.
Limit one customer at a time.
Appointments suggested.
The store is in Fairfield, NJ on Route 46. It does not look like a store, but if you are hard to fit, large feet etc. this is a place to go. They even have clip earrings.
If you come to meetings and cannot have things delivered, I might pick them up for you.

New Members??
If there is one area in which I fail, it is the area of membership. We do not seem to be getting any membership inquires by email, and the inquires we get all seem to be from girls who can’t get to the meeting due to business problems. It is nice to know that they are still working, but this does not help the meeting attendance. Our phone gets mostly telemarketing. Leah will be checking this.
I do not use any Internet chatrooms, and these might be a way to get new members. If any of you can help, please let me know

Maybe we could do a field trip. Is there anyplace nearby worth going to? Becky was talking about golf, would this work? The pool should be ready soon and could be fun (wet tee shirts) or maybe a fancy dress night.
