The purpose of this course is to helpstudents develop the skills, tactics and procedures needed for successful fly tying fishing for trout. Instruction will include basic fly tying, casting, aquatic ecology, tactics, environmental ethics, as they relate to fly fishing for trout Students will participate in fly tying, casting, lectures, presentations and field trips to local streams. Welcome to the enjoyable and challenging world of Fly Fishing for trout!!!

Written exam –-30% / Field Trips- Each class will make the first 2 Field trips as a unit. The last trip is optional. On the field trips you must fish with your partner. Pa fishing license is required otherwise observe, absorb and enjoy
