· Need to improve the audio. Some speakers couldn’t be heard very well.
- Bill Elmer
· Place new technologies in one session.
· Consider hardware on one day and software on another day. This idea wasn’t well received.
· Consider having topics related to offshore in a separate session by itself.
- Barry Nicholson
· Consider having a “day rate” for people who only staff booths and don’t want to attend any technical sessions. This would be a lower cost registration. Would need a separate colored name tag for them.
· Ronda says that these people would need to sign up on site – no pre-registration for them.
· N.B. It is agreed to offer only one free registration per booth.
· We may want to allow a maximum number of booths per company. This time there were three booths for three separate Baker Divisions.
· Consider offering various sizes of booths – small, medium, and large – for different charges.

· Consider offering on-line registration so people can sign up and pay on-line.
· N.B. Cleon is working on this as part of enhancements to the ALRDC web site.

· Consider making a better process to select technical presentations.
· N.B. This process will be adjusted somewhat for 2009.

· Many people missed having the Reservoir course.
· N.B. A special emphasis will be placed on having this course in 2009.

· Are changes needed in the awards to be handed out next year?
· N.B. We need specific awards for Session Chairs, Presenters, Teachers, and Breakout Coordinators.
· N.B. Cleon will provide the number of each category to LaTasha Anderson.

· We’ve continued to have good weather for the Workshop.

· The breakout sessions are very important.
· Need to provide follow-up on the breakout sessions at the workshop.
· N.B. There will be some significant improvements in the breakout session process in future workshops.

· Need to improve promotion of the workshop.

· Tuesday was a very long day.
· Need to have a cow bell to announce start times for each session.
· Should have the Keynote Address at lunch time.
· N.B. The daily schedule will be redesigned for next year to avoid such long days.

· Need to make the Keynote Speaker feel needed and welcome.

· Consider expanding the number of booths.
· Likes to have the split sessions.
· Need to provide training on the AV and systems to the Chairs and Co-Chairs.
· These people need to attend the Author’s Breakfast.

· Need to work on obtaining more Operator presentations, or at least joint Operators/Supplier presentations.

- Emee Ermel of Chevron is working on putting together a facilitated meeting to discuss plans for next year.
- What actions for the 2009 Workshop need to be taken based on these learnings?
- Emee Ermel is still working on her idea.

- When Emee Ermel has a plan, place, and date, we can invite people to participate in this facilitated meeting.

- Emee Ermel will consider if we can have a worthwhile meeting if there are up to 6 or 8 people.
- Some people have said that they would participate if a meeting is organized.
- If it looks like there can be a meeting, Emee Ermel will suggest a couple dates for us to consider.

- Is there any update on the proposed Workshop planning meeting?
- Emee Ermel proposes a teleconference between herself, Nampetch Yamali, Cleon Dunham, and the meeting facilitator to discuss details of the meeting.
- She will organize this with the meeting facilitator.

- The Workshop planning (framing) meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008 at Chevron’s offices in downtown Houston.
- Twelve people have responded, via the Meeting Wizard, that they can participate in person.
- An e-mail will be sent to the members of the Steering Committee with the questions that will be addressed at the meeting.
- A meeting agenda will be sent in the next few weeks.
- The questionnaire will be sent out this week.
- The agenda will be sent out this week or next week.
- We will have a teleconference call-in number for the meeting.
- Chevron will look into the availability of hotels in downtown Houston.
- People can also stay in West Houston and commute to the event. This will be less expensive than using a downtown hotel. Contact Cleon Dunham is you are interested.

- The questionnaire for the Gas Well Deliquification Workshop Planning (Framing) meeting has been sent to all members of the Steering Committee.
- Responses are requested by Sept. 19, 2008.
- How many responses have been received so far?
- The agenda for the meeting has been sent to members of the Steering Committee.
- Currently it appears that there will be sixteen people who can attend the meeting.
- Cleon Dunham will send the questions to Scott Campbell. Done.
- At this time, it appears that fifteen people can attend the meeting at Chevron.

- Is there any discussion of the Planning (Framing) Meeting held at Chevron on Oct. 14, 2008?
- The meeting was held and every one felt is was worthwhile.
- The Chevron facilitator will prepare a summary of the meeting.

- The summary of the meeting has been sent to the members of the Steering Committee.
- The summary has also been placed on the ALRDC web site under the 2009 Workshop.
- The list of Action Items is being addressed.
- Members of the Steering Committee are asked to review the results of the work on the Action Items and provide feedback.
- This event was well received.
- If you have action items, please provide an update on the status of these to Cleon Dunham so he can update the action item list.

- Has anyone addressed any of the outstanding action items from the Planning (Framing) session?
- Barry Nicholson has contacted Oil and Gas Journal, Harts E&P, The American Oil and Gas Reporter, and World Oil. They haven’t responded yet.
- Ronda Brewer is almost done combining the e-mails from the last few years.
- This will be used to send a copy of the new “flier” to all of the previous attendees.
3. Venue for 2009 workshop
