SPORTS CARNIVAL HEALTHY EATING PDHPE

BLOG DIARY ACTIVITY

I went to the sports carnival last Wednesday and I had a good day.
I came first in the 50 metre running race and I was given a blue ribbon. It made me feel very happy and proud.
I went in the 200 metre running and came 4th. I didn’t win but I tried my hardest and there were year 4 children in it too.
I am in the colour blue for my sports team. I like being in blue. We all sing songs and cheer everybody. I even had blue sunscreen on. My mum helped me make cheer- leading pom-poms out of paper. They were so much fun.
I can’t wait for the next sports carnival. / On Monday I had breakfast of yoghurt and then I had some raison toast. I had a banana milkshake.
I had to buy my lunch from the tuck-shop. I ordered a sandwich with ham and salad and a juice popper.
I stayed in afterschool care and we had biscuits and cheese and an apple.
For dinner, my mum cooked lasagna and it was delicious! I also had salad with tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce and avocado.
I had ice-cream for desert. But that was OK because it was my only ‘sometimes’ food that I had on Monday.
I forgot to add that I drank lots of water too! / I played with Velcro paddles and Velcro balls in sport today. It is called a ‘target’ game. It was lots of fun!
I threw balls to my friends who caught them with their bats!
I also got balls thrown to me too!
Some of the balls were really high and I had to stretch to catch them.
I liked playing that game.

MY ART:

I love taking photos. Here are some of my special pictures from the reptile park!

The turtle was my favourite animal. I called her Jenny.

This crocodile looked really angry. He looked at everyone when he was swimming. I NEVER want a crocodile as a pet!

My brother loves snakes- but I don’t want one at home. I named this snake Betty. She was really big!
