FACILITY: Rio Rancho Aquatic Center, Rio Rancho, NM. There are two (2) separate male & female locker rooms with rest room facilities. The venue is handicap accessible. The competition pool is an indoor, 8 lane, 25 yard pool with a Colorado Timing/Starting System. There is also three 25 yard lanes in the Recreation pool available for continuous warm-up and cool down. During this meet, all other areas of the facility will be closed, including the leisure pool.
FORMAT: All events are Timed finals seeded by time. The 11-12 and 13-14 500 Free will be limited to the fastest 16 male and 16 female swimmers from each age group, or not to exceed 32 combined swimmers for each age group. The 13 & Over 500 Free and 1000 Free will be swum fastest to slowest alternating boys and girls. Heats can be combined at Referee’s discretion.
Positive check-in will be required for the 400 IM, 500 Free, and 1000 Free.
DIRECTIONS: From I-25 take the Bernalillo exit, Hwy 550 N, then left on Hwy 528. From Hwy 528 turn right on Northern, then left on Loma Colorado. The pool is located between the Library and Rio Rancho High School.

ELIGIBILITY: All competitors must be 2010 or 2011 USA Swimming registered athletes.
Swimmers are limited to four (4) individual events per day.
COACHES: All coaches must be 2010 or 2011 USA Swimming registered with current safety certifications. Coaches are required to display their current USA Swimming card.
ENTRIES: This meet will be run using Hytek Meet Manager. Entries must be submitted using Hytek Team Manager, please submit your entries via email to the Meet Entry Chair: Holli Millsap at . Each team is required to fill out and send a Team Entry Form (see attached). Please include the name and phone number of a team coach or team representative to contact should an entry problem arise. The team entry form should be consistent with the number of entries submitted through Hytek. Entry times should be submitted using SCY.
ENTRY LIMIT: Four (4) events per day.
MEET LIMIT: This meet is capped at 350 athletes. Please provide entries to Meet Entry Chair early. If a team’s entries exceed the athlete entry limit of 350 athletes, all entries for that team will be accepted. No deck entries will be accepted if the entry cap is already met.
ENTRY FEES: $3.00 per Individual Event Entry, $8.00 per Relay Entry Fee, $3.00 NMS Surcharge per Swimmer, $5.00 Pool Use Fee per Swimmer.
DECK ENTRIES: A fee of $5.00 per event will be charged for all deck-entered athletes. Deck entries for relays will be $10.00. Deck entries will only be accepted for currently registered athletes (proof required) in empty lanes, no new heats will be created. Deck entries must be submitted 30 minutes prior to the start of the meet. Deck registration will not be available.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Please submit Team Manager entries via email. Entries are due by Friday, October 1st, 2010 by 6:00pm MST. A printout of entries, a team check or Cashiers Check for entry fees and a signed Membership Affidavit must be postmarked and mailed to the meet entry chair (Holli Millsap) by Monday, October 4th, 2010. WARM UP: NMS mandatory warm-up procedures will be in effect throughout warm-ups. All swimmers must be supervised by a coach member of USA Swimming during the warm-up sessions. All other areas of the facility will be closed.
AWARDS/SCORING: No scoring or awards.
RULES: 2010 USA Swimming and NM Swimming rules will govern this meet. NMS warm-up procedures will be in effect for the warm-up sessions.
RESTRICTIONS: The City of Rio Rancho prohibits smoking or the use of tobacco products on the pool deck, in locker rooms and rest rooms, in spectator seating and in all areas used by swimmers during the course of this meet. No food or glass containers are allowed in the facility. The leisure pool at the Rio Rancho Aquatic Center is strictly “off-limits” to all participants, spectators and officials during the meet.
SWIMWEAR: All swimsuits shall be made from textile materials. For men, the swimsuit
shall not extend above the navel nor below the knees, and for women, shall not cover the neck, extend past the shoulder, nor extend below the knee. No fasteners, other than drawstrings are allowed.
