Classroom News
It was so nice to see all of you that were able to attend Parent Night – thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule.
If you didn’t sign-up for a conference at Parent Night, I will be calling soon to schedule a time. Conferences are held Tues. 4th– Fri. 7th October. Students will be released at 1:15 Tuesday-Friday that week – please make sure you have made after-school plans.
I am looking at the papers you filled out at parent night as to when you would be able to volunteer in class. I hope to be able to contact you next week – thank you for your patience. If you were not able to make it to Parent Night, the papers are coming home today. / Blue Folders
Please remember that students need to bring their blue folders with their assignment sheet to school every day. It is the first thing they fill out in the morning.
I have not done much formal grading this week, wanting to allow everyone to get settled. Please note that next week, I will begin recording all work grades and homework completion. Graded papers will usually come home on Mondays.
Your child is bringing home their first project today. Look out for Flat Stanley!
I will be updating my website this weekend with documents and the project details. There is also a list of useful websites on there.
