Spelling Tic-Tac-Toe

Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night you will choose one activity for spelling homework for a total of three activities each week. The three activities that you choose must be in a row. The row may be horizontal, diagonal, or vertical. On Thursday night your homework will be to study for Friday’s spelling test. Spelling homework is to be turned in attached to this sheet.

Orange and Black
Print your spelling words in alphabetical order. Write one word in orange and one in black.
Alternate your colors.

Create a Halloween themed picture. “Hide” all of your spelling words in the illustration. Make sure to color it in. / Fall Into Your Words
Write your spelling words in fall colors: red, orange, yellow, burgundy, brown etc...

Choo-Choo Words
Write your spelling words end-to-end, as one long word, using different colored crayons for each word. / Spooky Story

Write your spelling words by adding one letter at a time.

WEB Your Words

Make a spider web out of your words, try and cross over words and use as many as you can. If you cannot use at least 12, pick another square. / Trick or Treat

Draw a picture of a trick-or-treat bag and write each spelling word on a piece of candy on the outside of the bag. / Word Processing Practice
Type each one of your spelling words three times each on the computer. Print it and turn it in.
