List each word, and USE A DICTIONARY to find a synonym and an antonym for that word.

Write a Story: Write a story (that makes sense) that includes at least 15 of your spelling words. Your story should have one topic (not be 15 different sentences that don’t go together) and have a beginning, middle, and end. Underline your spelling words. / 20 Questions
Do this for ALL words
Write 20 separate questions that can be answered with a spelling word. Then, be sure to write the spelling word.
EX: What is your mother’s girl child called? Her daughter. / Create New Words
Write each spelling word, then for each word, rearrange the letters of the word to create as many new words as you can

2) Write the definition for the word
3) Write the definition of the root word / Picture dictionary
Write each word, and next to each word sketch a simple picture to help you remember and understand the meaning of the word.
Guide Words
Write each word from your list. Look up each word in the dictionary. Write the guide words for each word. (The guide words are the words at the top of each dictionary page!) / Write a dialogue of 2 people talking that includes at least 10 of your spelling words. Your dialogue should use quotation marks and punctuation correctly.
Underline your spelling words / Reverse Order
Write each word twice, and then write it backwards (in reverse order) twice.
