Terms and Conditions of Booking

Access / Permit Holders must report to the Venue Management Office, located above Boat Shed 3, to check in prior to setting up the stall.
Permit Holders do not have unrestricted access to facilities including function rooms. All requirements must be booked in advance.
Animals / The Permit Holder will not allow any livestock or any dog, cat or other domestic or exotic animal to be brought onto or kept on the Stall site.
Cancellation / SIRC reserves the right to cancel any site hire if circumstances prior to or during the event may result in issues of safety or damage to property.
If the Permit Holder breaches any of the conditions of this Permit, the Authority may withdraw the Permit in accordance with the Licence.
Cleaning / Any litter, signage or equipment caused by the Permit Holder must be cleaned up / rectified at the conclusion of the event. Failure to comply may cause additional fees to be issued.
Pls note – balloons, rice, confetti, and foil streamers not permitted.
Conditions / The Authority has agreed at the request of the Permit Holder to grant a Stall Holder Permit (‘Permit’) to the Permit Holder on the terms and conditions contained in the Stall Licence Agreement (‘Licence’) between the Authority and the Permit Holder dated the same day as this Permit.
The Authority grants the Permit Holder permission to conduct the sale or promotion of goods and /or services (as indicated on the permit), to the public from the stall site and operated by the Permit Holder.
The Permit Holder will not permit the use of the Stall Site for any purpose other than the sale or promotion of goods and / or services as listed on the permit.
Damage / Repair costs for any damage caused as a result of the Permit site, will result in additional fees being applied.
Emergency / The Permit Holder will immediately advise SIRC Management or their delegated authority of any emergency, incident or accident.
The Permit Holder will comply with all reasonable requirements of all relevant authorities in relation to fire safety, security and emergency procedures
First Aid / SIRC Venue Management staff, SIRC Security staff and SIRC weekend Visitor Service Staff, can assist with first aid.
Food / No glass or vitreous products are permitted to be sold or brought on to the site and all food and beverage must comply with all relevant statutes and regulations, including but not limited to the Food Act, 1982 and HACCP Food Safety standards
Location / The location of Permit stalls will be agreed upon between the Event Organiser, SIRC Venue Management & the Permit Holder.
Maintenance / In the conduct of the Permit Holder’s business, the Permit Holder will ensure that it is properly maintained and conducts all business in a professional and courteous manner.
The Permit Holder will maintain the Stall Site in a good state of repair and ensure all OHS & safety requirements are complied with.
The Permit Holder will keep the Stall site free of vermin and pests.
Security / Equipment left unattended on site is fully at the permit holder’s risk. No responsibility will be taken by SIRC for any loss.
If you require site or overnight static guards, quotations can be provided by SIRC security contractors.
PLS note – under no circumstances is it permissible for permit holders or their delegates to remain on site overnight.
Smoking / Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas, except where events are advertised as being “smoke free”, as requested by the Event Organiser.
Trading Terms / SIRC reserves the right to decline applications at the absolute discretion of the Authority
Fees are payable in advance and are inclusive of GST unless otherwise specified.
Transfer / The Permit Holder must not transfer this Permit without the prior written consent of the Authority.
Vehicle Access / Vehicles are only permitted on roads and car parks unless prior arrangements to access grass areas or footpaths have been made.
Unless otherwise advised ALL vehicles are to park in designated parking areas. Permit holders are responsible for obtaining the appropriate “PARKING PERMIT” from Event Organisers as required.
Venue Staff / As part of this agreement, Permit Holders must comply with all reasonable directions of SIRC Venue Management, Security, Visitor Services Staff, Event and Traffic Marshals.
