At 6:05p.m. Tim Miller called the meeting to order.

4 Year Old Program

Discussion was held regarding the increased need for an additional 4 year old class. Mr. Evancho and Mr. Estes informed the board of numerous requests received from parents to enroll their children and the educational benefit provided to children at this age. After further discussion, Mary Ann Bennett moved, seconded by Julie Chamberlain to add an additional session to the district’s 4 year old program and hire a part-time teacher for this position. Motion carried: 7-0.

ESOL Paraprofessional

Matthew Jones moved, seconded by Tom Schuetz to hire Maria Trevino as the ESOL para eduator at the High School. Motion passed: 7-0.

Executive Session

At 6:25 p.m., Julie Chamberlain moved, seconded by Gayla Lohfink to enter executive session for personnel matters for thirty minutes. Executive session is necessary to protect the privacy rights of an identifiable individual(s). Motion carried: 7-0. .

At 6:55 p.m., Julie Chamberlain moved, seconded by Gayla Lohfink to extend executive session for thirty minutes for the aforementioned matters. Motion carried: 7-0. .

At 7:25 p.m., Julie Chamberlain moved, seconded by Gayla Lohfink to extend executive session for fifteen minutes for the aforementioned matters. Motion carried: 7-0.

At 7:40 p.m., Julie Chamberlain moved, seconded by Gayla Lohfink to extend executive session for ten minutes for the aforementioned matters. Motion carried: 7-0.

At 7:50 p.m., Julie Chamberlain moved, seconded by Gayla Lohfink to extend executive session for ten minutes for the aforementioned matters. Motion carried: 7-0.

At 8:00 p.m., Julie Chamberlain moved, seconded by Gayla Lohfink to extend executive session for ten minutes for the aforementioned matters. Motion carried: 7-0.

At 8:10 p.m., Julie Chamberlain moved, seconded by Gayla Lohfink to extend executive session for ten minutes for the aforementioned matters. Motion carried: 7-0.

At 8:20 p.m., Julie Chamberlain moved, seconded by Gayla Lohfink to extend executive session for ten minutes for the aforementioned matters. Motion carried: 7-0.

At 8:30 p.m., Julie Chamberlain moved, seconded by Gayla Lohfink to extend executive session for fifteen minutes for the aforementioned matters. Motion carried: 7-0. Rob McCallister was included in the session.

At 8:45 p.m., Julie Chamberlain moved, seconded by Gayla Lohfink to extend executive session for fifteen minutes for the aforementioned matters. Motion carried: 7-0. Rob McCallister exited the session.

At 9:15 p.m., the board reconvened in open session.

At 9:15 p.m., Jay Powers moved, seconded by Matthew Jones to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried: 7-0.
