Changing the WorldforJuneis Katelynn’s Closet. Thisis a 501c3 non-profit group that provides new and gently used clothing and basics to children on the Cape and Islands who are in need, and who are ages 4-18. Katelynn's closet helps children in need to maintain their dignity and self-esteem by providing them with stylish, clean, clothing that fits their needs and style preferences. Katelynn's Closet is distribution based. That means that they partner with existing social service agents (ie school nurses, social workers, church workers, and foster parents) who identify the child in need. Katelynn's Closet provides that social service agent with a package containing a week’s worth of clothing. That agent then delivers the clothing to the child in need. At no time do we assess need, nor do we know the identity of the child in need. Therefore by placing your loose change in the collection plates everySunday, we are helping to make a difference around the world and support those in need. Thank you for contributing to this important outreach ministry!
