Dinner project

Situation

A ‘Diner’ is an American style fast food restaurant that serves good quality but cheap food quickly. The board of directors at ‘Restaurants R Us’, want to bring the ‘American diner’ format to Britain. The problem they have is that they do not know what theme to use and also how to brand the ‘diner’ restaurant for the British market.

Design Brief

You have been picked to represent the design agency that will brand the ‘Diner’ concept to the British public. You will need to choose and research a theme for the restaurant from the short list. You will have four weeks to complete this project. The diner will be aimed at children and teenagers. The board of directors at ‘Restaurants R Us’, have narrowed down the theme ideas to the following restaurants below.

• Cartoon capers café (Include a range of cartoons).

• Dino’s Diner (Should include a dinosaur theme).

• Sports Diner (Should include a range of sports within the theme).

• Music Diner (Will have a musical theme and will include music artists).

• Fashion Diner (Will be based on models and a fashion theme).

• Movie Diner (Will be based on films and have a movie theme).
