Please utilize the checklist and submit all required information. Your application will be considered incomplete without the report on applicant and the letter of recommendation. STANDARDS FOR SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY AND BASIS FOR JUDGING
1.Applicants must either be a member of FFA, Grange or 4-H in San Diego County in the year in which they apply for this scholarship.
2.Candidate may apply or re-apply for scholarship in his or her senior year of high school, or within three years thereafter. However, candidates may only receive this scholarship once.
3.Scholarships shall be awarded annually (funds permitting and applications warranting) to FFA, Grange and 4-H members. To be considered, an applicant must have made application to a four-year or a two-year higher educational institution.
4.Scholarship funds awarded will be deposited for the recipient at the educational institution of his/her choice, to be administered by the college on a quarterly or semester basis. Proof of enrollment after the last day to drop classes, from the school, will be required prior to scholarship funds being released. Student must be enrolled on a full-time basis. Students will have three years to claim their scholarship.
5.Written application shall be made by the student to the Ramona Ag Booster Scholarship Committee, and postmarked no later than 5:00 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2017.
7.Applications will be considered upon the recommendation of his/her leader or advisor.
8.A breach of ethics during their fair career may prevent applicants from being awarded a scholarship pending review of the scholarship committee.
9.Selection of awardees shall be on the basis of:

1. Scholastic Record 15 Points
2. Participation in FFA, Grange or 4-H Activities/Project Enterprise 30 Points
3. Other Activities or Leadership involvement in community and school 15 Points
4. Student and parental involvement in Ag Boosters 15 Points
5. Future Agricultural Intent 20 Points
10.The number of recipients and the amounts to be awarded will be determined by the Ramona Ag Boosters Scholarship Committee. Awards must be claimed within a three-year period from the date of the original award. The decision of the judging committee shall be final.
11. Applicants will be notified by mail if they have been awarded the Ag Booster scholarship. Notification will be no later than 45 days from application submission.
