For Players under the age of 14 –(School Year 7/8/9) At 1st September 2014

Opportunities are being offered to Netball players who are Under 12/Under 13/ Under U14 in the Poole and surrounding area of Dorset who have been recommended by their Club/School coach as a player with talent potential

SCREENING will be taking place at

CANFORD SPORTS CENTRE, CANFORD SCHOOL, WIMBORNE DORSET BH21 3AD

Travel directions on AA route planner or similar – on -

WEDNESDAY 24th SEPTEMBER and 8th OCTOBER (2nd Trials) 6.00 - 8.00pm

FOR PLAYERS UNDER12/UNDER 13/UNDER 14 (on 1st Sept 2014)

TRAINING SESSIONS 6.00-8.00pm: 22nd October, 12th Nov, 26th Nov, 3rd Dec, 14th Jan, 28 Jan, 11th Feb,25th Feb, 11th March, 18th March (Mini Tmt at Bournemouth Satellite)

25th Mar, 22nd April, 29th April (Combined session with County Academy)

SUCCESSFUL TRIALLISTS will be required to:

◙Be a member of a Netball Club or join upon selection.

◙Demonstrate potential for talent development

◙Attend all Training Sessions

◙Arrange own travel to Area Venue

◙Be prepared to work hard individually and as part of a team on skills, fitness, courtwork and possible home training

◙Have full affiliation to England Netball, Netball Southwest Region and Dorset County (for insurance purposes and other benefits). School affiliation is not sufficient. See Below

The TALENT DEVELOPMENT PATHWAY will provide for Players:

◙A high level of coaching from the Dorset coaching team.

◙Player development linked to Excel Performance Standards

◙Opportunity for future training at the High Performance Centre, Bath

◙Access for identification to National Performance programmes

◙Excel information on:

◙Screening - £5.00

◙Upon selection:Programme - £50 (to include T-shirt and Handbook)

◙Full England Netball/Region/County affiliation - Cost £15
