South/Middle/Latin America Informational Poster

Objective:

Research and design an informational poster on a country in South/Middle/Latin America. This is an individual project.

Procedure:

The poster will include information on each of the Social Sciences. The Social Sciences are listed below with topics to find.

A. Geography – One Physical map; one Political map; key physical features of the land (mountain ranges, rivers, rainforests etc); most populous city (name and population); name of capital

B. Politics and Government – type of government and its organization; current leader; flag and explanation of colors and symbols

C. Economy –largest industries; currency and its value; mineral resources; trade partners; exports and imports

D. Culture – 3 traditional dishes; traditional dress; traditional music and dance; religions; celebrations and holidays; languages and dialects; indigenous (native) influences

E. History - timeline of major events

F. Tourist Attractions
