Open Meeting – Joe Grima

·  Introduce new members –

·  Approve April Minutes – Approved

Director’s Report – Matt Smith

·  Calendar of Events:

Ø  5/21: Bowling – from 1pm – 3pm at Pinz which includes all incoming Freshman. Boosters will pay for students. Parents are welcome to also attend

Ø  5/23: Spring Concert – 7pm

Ø  5/30: Memorial Day Parade – 9am and pizza served after marching

Ø  6/2: Band Banquet – 6pm at Bakers. Invitations to go out

Ø  6/4: Can/Bottle Drive 9am-3pm

Ø  6/4: Paradise Park 11pm – 6am

Ø  6/11: Graduation – Call time will be determined

Ø  6/16: Mandatory Parent/Student meeting at 6:30 in the Commons

·  Musical is over – Pit did a fantastic job!

·  State Festival – Band received a 1 rating and it’s the first in school history that they went to state! Great job kids!

Presidents Report – Joe Grima

·  Open Position – VP Operations and Secretary. All interested candidates please submit your request to Laura Hogan and the positions will be voted on at the June meeting. (Side note, as the outgoing Secretary, I will miss being a part of this FANTASTIC organization!! N.E.)

·  Senior Photo Frames – Vinyl being cut and will be ready for the BQT

·  Trailer Damage – There was some damage to the doors during winter. Boosters will cover cost of fixing.

Band/Choir Manager Report - Laura Hogan

·  Band Fee Update – we still have 11 participants who have not paid the 2015-2016 fee. Letters went out to those families requesting payment.

·  Banquet – Nancy handling BQT details. Carrie handling center pieces. Invitation going out to all band families. Arrival 6:00, eating 6:30

·  Ice Cream at the June meeting – Yes!

·  Uniform Help for fall marching season – we are in need of one additional parent volunteer to help with uniforms this fall. Please contact Laura Hogan

·  Graduation – we will have a snack and water at graduation. No meal this year due to the time of graduation being 2:30

Treasurer Report – Jim Hill

·  Update on account: Balance as of 4/30 is $7,896.87

VP Development - Chris Calzadillas

·  We have the following fundraisers underway;

Ø  U of M games – still slots to be filled. Remember this the money made at this fundraiser goes into the student’s individual charms account

Ø  Can Drive – We have 6/4 scheduled. We need parent volunteers to drive the students in the subdivisions.

Ø  Casino Trip – Discussions of having another Casino night fundraiser. Was a fun event. Would need to do heavy advertising.
