South Callaway Softball Tournament 2012

Time:Tournament starts at 8:00 a.m.

California, Eldon, Eugene, Fatima, Fulton, Mark Twain, New Bloomfield, South Callaway

General Information:

  • Entry Fee:$80.00 payable to South Callaway R-II School District plus 3 game balls.
  • Admission:$3.00 Adults, $2.00 Students
  • Concessions:The South Callaway Booster Club will be providing concessions.
  • Teams will need to provide their own coolers and cups. Water will be available at the concession stand.
  • Each team will be guaranteed three games. The only exception to that is if we have poor weather during the day. We may only finish the championship game at another date if weather becomes a factor.
  • A one hour and thirty minute time limit will be in effect except for the championship game. BE PREPARED TO PLAY EARLY SO WE CAN STAY ON OR AHEAD OF SCHEDULE! We will be using the 15 runs after 3 innings and 10 runs after 5 innings rule. We will be using the international tie-breaker for all games except the championship game where we will play extra innings. The tie-breaker will be used for all innings started after the time limit.
  • Please submit 1 game ball prior to each of your team’s initial game (3 total).
  • Pre-game infield will be allowed only before each team’s first game. There will be approximately 10 minutes between games to allow for field maintenance and pre-game necessities.
  • Home team will be determined by a coin flip. Each team will be responsible for foul balls to their side. Also, each team is responsible for cleaning up the dugout after each game. Please leave the dugout area prior to your post-game talk. This will allow the next team to get ready quicker.
  • Awards: Trophies/Plaques will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th place.

Please fill out attached information sheet and return it by September 13 at 12:00. Tournament seeding will be based on overall record, strength of schedule, and any other information you can provide. The tournament will be seeded by myself and with input from HS principal. We will seed the tournament and have brackets to you by Friday September 14.
