CONDITIONS OF ENTRY.

1.  All exhibits must be registered with their respective breed societies and all members must be financial.

2.INSURANCE: It is compulsory that ALL competitors, riders, handlers, drivers, strappers & grooms have Public Liability insurance to the sum of $10,000,000. Some societies incorporate Public Liability Insurance into their membership fees . If a competitor DOES NOT have current cover, day membership/Insurance is available at a cost of $10 PER PERSON who may be handling, riding, driving or strapping on the day. Day membership forms are attached to this program. If an exhibitor has current Public Liability Insurance coverage,through any Breed society, pony club

Etc, PROOF MUST BE supplied at the time of entry, via a photocopy of membership/insurance card or waiver. THE ONUS IS ON THE COMPETITOR TO KNOW THEIR OWN INSURANCE STATUS AND TO COMPLY WITH THIS RULING.

3.All registration papers, foal recordings , cert of pregnancy must be produced on request.

4.All stallions/colts must be bitted in accordance with their respective breed societies rules & be shown by a person in accordance with societies handler age limits.

5.All exhibits must be under effective control of a capable person, whether ridden or led.

6.All foals must be led.

7.All persons in charge of exhibits in the ring must be suitably attired. No advertising is allowed in the ring. All persons riding anywhere on the grounds, MUST wear a CURRENT safety approved helmet and riding boots.

8.Stewards have the right to remove from the ring any person not considered to be in effective control of their exhibit or who is considered unsuitably attired.

9.HOT WEATHER POLICY: If the Adelaide forecast is to be 36 degrees or over, on the Channel 9 news the SATURDAY night before the show, the show will be cancelled. The committee takes no responsibility if any exhibitor arrives at the show when it has been cancelled. The SABA will refund entries, less a $5.00 administration fee.

10.The SA Buckskin Association Inc, will not accept any liability for any accident, damage, injury or loss to horses, competitors or spectators or any of their belongings, or any other person or property.

11.All protests must be lodged with the secretary in writing within 15 minutes of completion of the class, accompanied by a $75 fee which will be returned if the protest is upheld.

12.The committee reserves the right to refuse any entries.

13.The committee or designated representatives of the committee, reserves the right to inspect any animal on the grounds.

14.Ages of all horses and ponies calculated from 1st August unless otherwise stated. Ages of handlers/riders are as on the day of the show.

15. Entries close Friday 11th November 2016. Entry fees are $6/class or $10/class if entering on the day. Breed entries on the day accepted until 10am only. No phone or email entries will be accepted. Please ensure sufficient time for Australia Post to deliver.

16.Rings will be held at the judges’ discretion only. The committee reserves the right to cancel or combine classes in the case of insufficient entries.

17.Horses that bear the prefix of the judge are ineligible. Exhibitors will be notified accordingly.

18.NO DOGS allowed on the grounds.

19.NO LUNGING ON THE OVAL BY ORDER OF THE TALUNGA PARK COMMITTEE.

20.The Judge’s decision is FINAL.

All exhibitors must be a current financial member of the Pinto assoc of SA inc. All exhibits must be registered or recorded with the Pinto Assoc of SA Inc, and be in a satisfactory health state to enter the show. All Competitors entered in handler or rider events must be a current financial member of the Pinto Assoc of SA Inc, OR must be covered by insurance within the Pinto Assoc of SA Inc. All exhibits entered in ridden or harness events must be 3 yrs or older. Stallion or Colts 2yrs or older must be bitted. Stallions must be ridden or handled by a competent handler or rider 15yrs or over. Failure to adhere to any of the above rules will result in the entry not being eligible to compete on the day and may lead to further disciplinary action being sought by the Pinto Assoc of SA Inc committee. ALL exhibitors of any age MUST wear a safety approved helmet whilst mounted and appropriate closed in footwear at all times.
