  • Sonex d.o.o is enterprise that deals with import and wholesale of Italian and German sweets. It has been present on the Croatian market since 1991 and has become exclusive importer and distributor of Balconi cakes and rolls for Croatia and Antonelli croissants for former Yugoslavia countries. I am in charge of all contacts with the suppliers abroad (Balconi, Antonelli, Sorini, Rubezahl, Mangiami), our customers in Croatia (large retail systems – Konzum, Kaufland, Metro, Billa, Coop, Gavrilović trgovina, CBA group, NTL group, small shops and HORECA distribution) andsupervision of our commercial network (6 commercial representatives for entire Croatia). Planning level of sales, marketing initiatives and cost analysis deriving from it is also one large segment of my work.

  • Bramac pokrovni sistemi d.o.o. is involved in the production and sales of concrete tiles. Bramac is international enterprise, originated from Austria, with branches in 11 countries in Central and Eastern Europe; the owner is international conglomerate Lafarge.Besides tiles made of concrete (production plant in Drniš) its assortment includes complete system of roofing solutions and is therefore recognized on the market as the only provider of the complete roofing system. I was in charge of the Dalmatian region with the emphasis on the middle and south Dalmatia and the islands. My activities covered several market segments: merchandisers, construction enterprises, architects, individuals dealing with investments and all the government funded institutions that are somehow connected with my area of interest. These activities were field-based and included visiting the warehouses in the region, controlling the level of supplies, sales and payment, POS, education and the motivation of the self-employed constructors, education and motivation of architects and visits to the individual buildings still under construction (micro location, measurement of the roof, suggestions regarding the type and quantities of the tiles and roofing components.)

  • Sales manager within soft drinks department. Assortment included carbonated drinks, brand Pepsi and juices, brands Bono and Voćko. I was in charge of four different areas: Split, Solin, Klis and the island of Šolta. Job description included distribution, sales organization and payment control. I would like to put special emphasis on marketing activities that I also took care of since that area of work was most appealing.

  • After working mostly in acquisition I have decided to gain more experience in sales and direct contacts with the clients. Therefore I started working in Ivmar, wholesaler of tableware. Ivmar is exclusive distributor for ARC INTERNATIONAL – French enterprise that manufactures chinaware, glass and ceramics for both households and hotels and restaurants.Job description included direct contacts with customers, contacts with possible new clients and payment control. I was also expected to propose promotional activities and submit follow-up documentation.

  • I worked as acquisition manager for the acoustics department within wholesale and four retails. At the same time I was developing new department – tableware and small household appliances. The most important segment was daily contact with both domestic and foreign suppliers (Italy, China, Netherlands, Deutschland, Thailand) and visits to different international fairs.

Interests and activities / My special interests are sports and singing. I also like to travel and meet new people. I have driving license, B category.
Volunteer experience / For four years (1994/1997) I was an active member of AIESEC - international student organization gathering students of management, informatics, tourism and organization. I was vice-president for projects and programs in AIESEC Split during academic year 1996/1997 and president of the organization committee for international project “INTERNATIONAL SUMMER WEEK 1997“ – international summer week that gathered 120 students from 12 different countries. I attended seminars in Slovenia, Hungary, Check Republic, Slovakia, Deutschland and Poland. Topics that were discussed in these seminars were different: entrepreneurship, tourism, social responsibility and special emphasis were put on self-improvement subjects (management, stress management, body language, presentation skills, negotiation skills).
Since AIESEC is a non-profit organization and is financed exclusively through sponsorships I had the chance to gain substantial experience in that area (contacts with city officials, private enterprises and other non-profit organizations).
